Why were each member of the Freighties picked to go on this mission?
Why are they looking for Ben? Who is Ben's mole? |

A few more (I checked.. didn't seem to be covered):
Why/how did archaeologist chicky find a Dharma Polar Bear in the middle of the desert? Was there a station symbol on the collar? They seemed to focus a lot on the pictures of the kid that Ghost Hunter Guy went to send away. Any significance? Does Ben have a photographic memory? He seems to have memorized everything about everybody.. How is that possible? Sorry, bad with names... |

Where are all of the leftover "Others" (like Richard Alpert) and the people they've captured (Cindy, the kids) while all of this other stuff is
going on?

pilot found out about the bodies not matching the victims. The scientist cried when he saw the plane go down because he knows what brought it down. The
psychic knows because his vacuum cleaner told him. And Naomi - she's part of the island because she met with the black guy that visited Hugo and
questioned his choices.
Does Ben have a photographic memory? He seems to have memorized everything about everybody.. How is that possible? The black guy told him they were coming and provided a dossier. |

Does Ben have a photographic memory? He seems to have memorized everything about everybody.. How is that possible? When was the last time Ben was out of site from the Losties? It's been a while, probably longer than the freighter has been near the island. Although not a definate answer, I believe it has something to do with Mr. Abbadon or Mr. Abbadon's boss. When Naomi was first found, she said it was reported a while ago that everyone was confirmed dead (there was even a Charlie tribute album). So suppose who ever selected the team, was instructed or in cahoots with Ben (while he was still in the barracks). |

Fusili Jerri wrote: I was wondering the same thing...I'm very interested in the time-line here: One theory I've seen is that the freighties are looking for Ben to get
revenge for the Dharma purge. Could this picture be from around the time of the purge? If that holds any significance....

You are correct. I imagine we'll see/hear from them again when they become relevant again.

There's still the big question what the heck are the polar bears for? It sort of seemed like at the Hydra station cages they were testing their
intelligence for some reason. Not sure what that was about. But here's another blurb that could relate to the reproductive issue:
"Polar bears mate in April and May over a one-week period, which is needed to induce ovulation. The fertilized egg then remains in a suspended state until August or September. During these four months, the females eat prodigious amounts of food in preparation for pregnancy, often more than doubling their body weight. When food becomes scarce in August because of ice breakup, they dig a maternity den in a snow drift and enter a dormant state similar to hibernation. In areas where food is available year-round, they may not enter a den until October. Cubs are born in December without awakening the mother. She remains dormant while nursing her cubs until March, when the family emerges from the den." |

Interesting PoChop, so maybe they are also fertility related?

At the end of this last episode, Ben said he had another name for Sayid. Then Sayid said something about the people being onto him now, and then Ben said
"good." But was he saying "good", or "Goode" (sp?) as in the name of a person? On the inside of Naomi's bracelet there
looked to be the initials R.G.

ISmileICrazy wrote: Don't know why the polar bear bones were in the desert, but I believe it had the Hydra symbol on the collar. The significance of the pictures was probably not the person in them, but the fact that the frames changed. When Miles went upstairs they were wood frames, and when he came down, they were metal. Why/how, I have no clue. |

On some other Lost sites, people are speculating that the polar bears may have been used to test time travel, which is why one was found in Tunisia.
