Comments about how his dream has always been to try to survive in the wild. Note that he did NOT say to play Survivor. Went on about wanting to kick the favorites' butts, but what fan didn't? Called "JON Bon Jovi in his prime." Was the voice to note that they took too long on the shelter, and didn't build it well. Got lots of smile shots. I initially had him as CP, but I think after typing that that I"ll change to MOR. Feel free to try to convince me otherwise.

So i will wait until Ep 2 for them. As for the Fans Chet, Natalie and Mary had nothing.

I don't think it's too early to rule out some people (Amanda and Cirie, for instance, and several of the fans), but the structure of the episode was such that it's probably going to take a few more episodes to get a grip on the the fans' edits. Right now, like everybody else has said, Alexis, Jason, and Tracy look the best, but Mikey, Erik, and a few others are still in it. For the faves, Parvati had an amazing first episode; exactly the sort of thing a returning player might get in these circumstances had they won. Jonathan's was also very good, as was Eliza's barring her lack of an introductory confessional. Ozzy was solid, I thought. No one else really stood out, but it's still very early. I hope I didn't jump the gun with my early watchdog report. Good episode, though! Amanda: UTR (I think she was mentioned enough? By Eliza, maybe? I think she had a confessional, though. If not, I could totally see an INV1.) Ami: UTR (I could see a weak MOR, but UTR seems to be the better choice. Just a little piece of being with her alliance and her talk with Fairplay.) Cirie: UTR (Nothing much... which was weird. You think she would be the swing vote, not Fairplay!) Eliza: CP (She seemed to be based on strategy. Maybe even a negative tone, for being "sneaky and shady") Fairplay: CPM (He just seemed to be playing it all up. I doubted the sincerity, but there seemed to be enough personal conflict for a CP.) James: MOR (Not too sure about James. I'm leaning MOR, though, with his flirtationship with Parvati.) Jonathon: CP (Yep! Strategizing Jonathon is back.) Parvati: CP (No tone? But... I think she was complex enought with analyzing her past game and her role in taking out Eliza.) Ozzy: MOR (He had some confessionals, narrative-like, though) Yau-Man: MORP (He did enough to warrant a MOR and I think the P is there) Alexis: UTR (Just two confessionals, I believe. Nothing signifcant, but a kind of meaning full, insightful confessional.) Chet: UTR (Just enough to avoid INV since Kathleen had an embarrassing conversation with him.) Erik: MOR (First the the boat... I think he had a good confessional somewhere, too.) Kathleen: OTTN (See my WD report.) Jason: MOR (Narrative-like comments.) Joel: UTR (Just a challenging James like confessional with a pre-challenge conversation. I could see a weak MOR.) Mary: INV (Yep.) Mikey B: MOR (Like Jason, he was narrative.) Natalie: INV (I don't think she had a confessional or anything.) Tracy: MOR (Talked about Fairplay, has implants, and talked about the game. I'd say that brings her to MOR territory.) Some promising edits in Eliza, Jonathon, Ozzy, Parvati, and Yau man for the faves and Erik, Jason, Mikey B, Tracy, and to a lesser extent, Alexis, for the fans. But... this is only the first episode, though! A lot of things can change and edits can pick up, some die down, some people will be dubbed as possible winners and when the season is over, some will kick themselves for backing them. Man, I'm really exicited to be a part of this, this time around!

But Cirie, Amanda, and Ami if they don't get any airtime next ep then they can be eliminated for sure.

FAVOURITES: Amanda: UTR1 probably, very little screentime from herself, but enough SPV to not be INV. Ami: INV, unlike Amanda, Ami got practically nothing. Cirie: UTR2, considering the twenty person cast, two confessionals can be a lot. Eliza: CP3, pretty solid edit, some scheming, some annoying Elizaness, but it's good for her. Fairplay: OTTM5. What a GIANT visibility, plus the mixed emotions and switch seems like OTTM. James: UTR2, in the double relationship boat, but not much development. Jonathan: CP3, he got a few confessionals, but nonetheless, it's a weak 3. Fairly complex. Ozzy: MOR3, not too much substance, bland and usual. Parvati: CP4, weak 4 warranted? I'm not sure, but she was definitely CP, maybe even room for some tone. Yau Man: MOR2, I don't remember too much, aside from the tackle thing. Seems like a fair rating. FANS: Alexis: INV, little substance, little to work with. Chet: UTR1, enough SPV for a 1 I'd say. Erik: UTR2, a few confessionals if I remember, but nothing super substantial. Jason: MOR2, a bit more than Erik, and a bit more facetime. Joel: UTR1, saved by the Probst question. Kathleen: CPM4, quite a bit of visibility, thrown in with kookiness and antics = CPM4, maybe 5. Mary: INV, yup. Mikey B: MOR3, I might be wrong on this one, but he was a presence to me. Natalie: INV girl, SURPRISE! Tracy: UTR1, SPV, but no comments about the breast thing = fail. WINNERS: It's quite hard to say with fans, but favourites, I'd pick Eliza/Parvati, and weak strings on Jonathan/YM. Barely picking Jason and Mikey B for fans, but I'm assuming they'll be much more developed next time around.

We had very few to choose from for winners. I might add that Mary is eliminated (almost forgot she was there). Tracy, on the other hand, looked pretty good.

Yep. Especially in a season like this, and especially for the fans. It's possible that a fave winner could get by with a so-so first episode since it's understood that we already kind of know who they are. For the newbies, something has to be given to them right away to make them stand out in the field of superstars. Chet, Natalie, and Mary are out for this reason. Kathy's out because she was OTT and probably N. Anyone not eliminating them right now is simply delaying the inevitable and setting themselves up for trouble when they get one decent episode later on. Alexis: INV, little substance, little to work with. No. There were INVs this episode, but Alexis wasn't one of them.

NOBODY from the favs was invisible. Absolutely NOBODY. Don't even try to argue for an invisible rating. There were a few on the fans though. The fact that the fans were the less shown tribe makes the more prominent people from that tribe more likely as winners (except for Kathleen of course).

Malakai Tribe: Amanda - UTR2 (Same as last time, only this time, she's flirting with Ozzy on day one) Ami - UTR2 (Ignored as hell.) Cirie - UTR2 (She got a confessional, but that's about it. She was completely ignored.) Eliza - MOR3 (She talked a lot, as usual, and she got a lot of challenge footage due to her injury) James - UTR2 (Same as Amanda. The couples foursome was barely there.) Jonathan - CP3 (Not a lot of CPs, but I think Jonathan got one of them) Jonny Fairplay - CPM4 (I say M, because he really did seem to be a nice enough guy when he talked about wanting to go home to his girlfriend, and he wasn't lying about that, apparently) Ozzy - UTR2 (See James and Amanda) Parvati - CP3 (Definite focal point of the couples foursome) Honestly, I didn't really like the editting for this first episode, because there was too much going on, and two many players were ignored. Either way, I'm not fond of her winner chances. Also, I don't recall any confessionals from Alexis, but I might be way off. Those were just my first impressions. I'm out this weekend, but if I get the chance, I'll update my ratings later.

In the Actual show James was only shown with Parvati, usually romances are edited with the Guys as the dominant figure, but James was only shown talking aobut her; Parvati however got screentime away from James, which hurts his chances. He also gave a confessional talking about the new camp, and how well it worked together (opposed to Fei Long I assume). After the Immunity Challenge he dissapeared, which also hurts his chances.
