We should wait until ep2 on the others. Also note on who received intro confessionals and who didn't. But hanging on by very little Amanda - like amy the least visible out of the showmance alliance Cirie - had a intro conf, and another conf before tc. Wow, just wow on the dynamics for the faves and the edit. At least Amanda is consistant -why, oh why was she chosen? From the faves, I hate to say it but Parvati looks solid with manipulation from her intro confessional, the snippet of her thanking Jeff when he introduced her, and her talks of reflecting on her past strategy and how it will change this time. If a fave won, most likely there will be reflection on how they played and how they will play in the premiere.

Posts: 5485 (02/07/08 9:08 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I think Ami didnt have a ton of screen time, and its damning to not have had one of those opening re-introduction videos, but she had more screen time than some people are saying, she had a good section of the Fairplay strategy talk, probably as much speaking as Yau-Man had. Amanda is the only one on the favs tribe that I think had completely minimal screen time.

All the others who got an intro conf had some impact to the story tonight.

INV = Natalie, Mary Most of the fans were forgettable, which was expected. I see potential in Jason, Alexis, and Tracy (winning). For the Favs, I'd have to say Parvati or Jonathan.

Favorites--- Amanda: INV/UTR What were you guys expecting? Same as her last premiere. ::eyeroll:: Eliza: CP(N)? very smart, but known to be manipulative? I was pissed when she was thrown from the cart. : { Ami: UTR/MOR I wasn't expecting the quietness from her, but at least she still has her sense of game. Cirie: UTR ditto Parvati: CPP/MORP cute and wants to change her strategy, but just can't help but get close with James. I, however, want to throw up all over her face. lol Jon: OTTM/CPM obviously need to review, but I'm leaning CPM Yau-Man: MOR(P) tone? We got the usual Wow-Man edit. But idk how we're supposed to handle him taking Jon out! lol I loved it. Jonathon: CP the usual. Ozzy: UTR/MOR pretty quiet towards the end. I'm leaning MOR though. James: MOR Fans--- 5/10 got decent airtime/coverage. The rest were neglected. Mary: INV Joel: UTR/MOR Tracy: MOR/OTT All I remember is Jon hate. but she did stand out. Alexis: MOR stand out Jason: CP/MOR stand out Kathy: OTT Chet: UTR loved his line about Kathy maybe not knowing if she's had a gay friend. lol Erik: MOR(P) stood out a lot early-on. Had an interesting quote about knowing the favorites strengths and weaknesses, and called out Kathy, otherwise not much. Chet: INV. Yep, he's gay. Erik: UTR. Had a confessional about his strength, then beat Ozzy to the beach. Joel: MOR. Was psyched to compete against James, and had some discourse with JP before the challenge. Kathy: OTT. Cartoon character if there ever was one. From making an idiot out of herself to crying on the beach, I think she's a distraction and is gone pre-merge. Never good to be called the "crazy lady." Mary: INV. Who? MIkey B: MOR. I can't remember much of what he said, something about being ready to play at the challenge. Wouldn't be opposed to an UTR. Natalie: INV. Who? part deux. Tracy: MOR. Lots of digs at Fairplay, but she definitely has a presence. FAVORITES Everybody talked about Fairplay, so I'm not going to include any of that commentary. Suffice it to say no one trusts him, and he's gonna stir stuff up. Amanda: INV. Yup, there's some good casting. At least she got edited differently this time. hack cough hack Ami: UTR. Given credit for the 4-person alliance that went nowhere. Cirie: UTR. Late confessional saved her from an INV. Has the dreaded "anyone but me" quote. Eliza: CP. Wanted to vote out Ozzy, but then we wouldn't get tonsil hockey next week. Hasn't changed much-- still loud, but I still like her. Fairplay: CPM. Could be OTT, but we found out why he was here, and why he wanted out. I even believe him, since I know his girlfriend did have a kid. Don't know if I would've believed him there, though. James: MOR. Could be OTT, but he has 2 dimensions: big strong dude and lover of Parvati. Blech. Ozzy: MOR. Wise to be wary of Eliza, since she was after him. "Expectation to live up to" and they didn't. PARvati: UTR. Could be a low-vis MOR, but I think UTR fits better. We haven't seen any of this new strategy she talked about. Yau Man: OTTP. I practically cheered when he knocked Fairplay into the boat. Then he gets fire. Then he calls out Fairplay at TC. He's supposed to be our hero, but we don't really get why yet. I won't post actual edits until there are about 16 left. It's nearly impossible. However, I did see several possible winners from the first episode just based on seemingly meaningful and multiple confessionals. FAVS From the "favs" I would say that Eliza seems to stand out as a possible winner. She was shown relatively early, was crucial in voting alliances, and wasn't forced down our throats. Jonathan is a possibility. Yau Man would seem to be also. I was disappointed in Ami and Cirie's showing. Possible Winners: Eliza Jonathan Eliminated: *Anyone from the romance 4* Close to elimination: Cirie Ami FANS I totally think a winner will come from this pack. We had a BUNCH to choose from and a couple that were completely, 100% eliminated. Eliminated: Kathleen (too over the top and emotional) Natalie (invisible) Joel (not visible enough) Good first episode-possible winner already: Mike (2 or 3 good confessionals) Jason (probably off chance, but possible) Erik (came across like Ian ) Alexis ( I REALLY didn't expect 2 confessionals from her; one was about how the fans know all the favs moves and the other was a more personal dig at Kathy) If I had to narrow things down in the first episode, I would say the winner is either Eliza, Mike, or Alexis. It was a great first episode for females. Unlike the last 2 seasons, we had several possibilities. That's a good sign, particularly with 20 people.

(Ami and Parvarti took the secluded walks with him) -Ami was a nonfactor, but Parvarti was linked to a theme of being observant. Ugh, ugh, ugh -Parvarti is the top of winning. "It's like pee water" indeed.

I guess maybe Jonathon? Fans- Alexis only had one confessional I believe that stuck out, but I forget what it was. I think it was her assessing the situation and how she'll do in the game. Eric also impressed me. He's out here to compete, but maybe that's his only story, beating Ozzy. Tracy idk about. Seems like she could be a big personality. **Mike B impressed me most. eta- oh niki, just use <br> when you want to start new paragraphs. Sometimes Yuku does that to me too, but I just have to edit.
