Loved this challenge--I think it separated the real designers from the pretenders. This was a challenge where you just needed to let go of your preconceived
ideas of fashion and just let the creative juices flow. The ones having problems just could not let go of their image of what a designer "should"
do. They pulled back instead of going for it.
I was pleasantly surprised that Christian was able to let go of pretentiousness and have fun with this challenge--though he still had to throw in his little eighties jacket look. If Sweet Pea would have just done an over the top robe with a vampire rhinestone stand-up collar or something similar she could have pleased her client and the judges--she seemed like she was so worried about the judges that she was frozen. Loved, loved Chris's design. The best part was watching Nina, Michael and Heidi having to judge this...they were cringing. The Heatherettes were a great choice as judges for this challenge--they are out there. Pure entertainment! |

Wow, great episode! Hilarious challenge, excellent judging, Christian at his best... it was just perfect. The bottom three was exactly right, Ricky leaving and Chris winning!!!! was right on. So two go next week? I guess Sweet P and Chris, then. I don't see them letting Sweet P into fashion week, and Christian and Jillian are almost locks. Rami is also their love-child, so he'll probably beat out former-eliminee Chris. I'd love to see Christian (good designs, but I think 10-13 looks might look repetitive from him), Chris (he's had a broad range with some serious hits) and Jillian (prefer her over the other two, and with a few months she can probably turn out some nice garments). I'd hate for Rami to make it... |

I think the one thing I liked about this episode the most was watching the WWE Divas on that runway. After all the lackluster models PR had this season, it
was quite refreshing watching those amazons stomp and work that catwalk like they were loving what they were doing! I've rewatched the ending of this eppy
a couple of times just to see them strut their stuff. So a big shout out for the Divas. They really brought a lot of spirit to the judging portion. Bravo
girls!

ironic, I don't think they ever had a clue.
you just knew chris & christian were gonna slam dunk this one. chris is still gun shy, but he did extend himself more and created a fabulous outfit - even if it was for wrestling. so the theory of keeping ricky around all this time for protection of another designer when needed was for sweet p????????? |

I absolutely loved Chris' outfit. Christian's was a close second.
Rami is either extremely inflexible and stubborn, or extremely limited. Sweet P has struggled almost every epi, though she usually comes up with something nice. Jillian's been solid the whole way and I also loved her outfit. I guess I'm one of the few enjoying this season. I like most of the cast and I've been impressed with many of the outfits. |

But the reason the regular judges finally got it right, after being wrong for so many weeks, is because of the input of the guest judges. |

I love it when my two favourite things come together: Runway and WWE :)
For those of you interested, Maria (Chris' diva) has been wearing attire like that for quite a while now, and they all look very similar - so don't be surprised if it turns out he's been making some more for her. On the other hand, the other's haven't worn anything like the ones designed on the show, so...doesn't look like they rated things all that highly. |

i want Chris's jacket from last night...i LOVED it!! So happy that he FINALLY won....and ah poor Ricky is gone...whatever.
Christian's starting to grow on me....he is a good designer but I could deal without the gayer-than-thou attitude |

well I finally figured out what bugs me about Jillian: She talks in a very affected manner, similar to Allison. The accent is called "I don't have an
accent and I work really hard pronouncing things to avoid having an accent"....

I don't think the judging was so spot-on this week. Yes, the top three and the winner were correct. However, Ricky's was the best of the bottom three.
His wasn't ugly. Basically, you had four wrestlers looking sexy on the runway and two looking terrible. Sweet P's wrestler looked fug in that outfit
and Rami's looked REVOLTING. The fact that both of the worst designers this week made it through IS sad as far as I'm concerned.
I understand that they regularly save "hideous" and auf "boring", and that the reason they do so is to prevent designers from playing it too safe. I get that, but I don't agree with it. Rami was STILL playing it safe (staying in his wheelhouse) to disastrous effect, and he should have been the one auf'd! |

Chris deserved to win, Christian and Jillian did well, too.
The only thing I disagree with the judges is the order of the bottom 3. Even though Sweet P's design was considered too plain, it wasn't nauseating. Rami's shocking pink froo froo was. I would have told SP she was safe and then blast Rami before ousting Ricky. Rami's been in the bottom a lot lately, I hope he goes next. |

Rickys was the worst, because it wasnt a practical wrestling outfit...it was a bathing suit. She would have looked ridiculous in the ring wearing that. Sweet
P's may have been boring and Rami's an eye sore, but they definitely were wrestling outfits. Hence Ricky deserved that based solely on the fact he
didnt design for the challenge.

Ok, so this was a fun challenge and all but... if I thought designing prom dresses was sinking to a new tickety-tackety low, boy was I wrong.
I honestly can't decide who I adore more, Chris March or Ferosh Coutoura. I'm like, in gay heaven with the two of them. Can you imagine hanging out with these two? Oh and hallelujah! Ricky's finally gone! And not one tear! No meltdown! I thought all the ###$! this season were building up to the Auf to end all Aufs. Here was his chance to make his big dramatic exit and he craps out on us? Oh, Ricky. Truly, you disappoint. |

^ I guess Ricky only cries when he's self-pitying, not when he's bitter about losing.
Ricky's outfit did look like a bathing suit. And not a particularly flattering one. The back especially looked baggy and ill-fitting. Meanwhile, I LOVE Chris, and his humility when winning for the "tackiest challenge." ;) |
