So this is the final ep until the strike or am I miscounting?Nope, there's 3 more to go...tho, Episode 11 may be use as the last, since it has a better 'cliff-hanger' type ending then 12 does.

looking forward to the dream show tonight with a little back info on Bobby. This show is well written IMO. I love the quirks and laughs with this show.

We're such a select subgroup, I care what everyone has to say. Seriously.
I didn't dig the ep as much as usual, plus the boys are starting to get too sensey again. Bela is SUCH a bitch. And wait! It wasn't Bobby that saved her life. It was, uh, I GOT IT! The Winchester boys when she had that nasty ghost ship problem. Sad -- honestly sad -- for Deano and the babymama at the picnic. I wondered when little Ben would come up again. Ah well, off to bed. OH FUCK! |

It's just heartbreaking that Dean has been the garbage man for that family his entire life. And now he gets to go to hell for his brother. His less
talented, uglier brother.

As usual I loved the dialogue. Why the fuck do they ever let Bella around - EVER? I do give points for the wet dream Sam was having about her! LOL at him
'needing a minute' before getting up. So Bobby killed his possessed wife back in the day? I kept rewinding the end when Dean was flashing back to dream
Dean saying 'and this is what you'll be' and then it appeared to go over to good Dean and he snapped his fingers ending the show. Good Dean looked
like he had all black eyes. I love the chills this show gives! I agree it was sad to see how Dean really views himself and what kind of life he was dealt.
Looking forward to Groundhog theme next week.

I really liked this episode. From Dean vs Dean to Bobby being able to summon Jeremy's dad in that dream.
I want them to kill Bella though. I just want her dead. |

I thought the epi was good enough, definately not their best. I also loved the part with good Dean vs. bad Dean. Next week's looks really good.

Bela is just such a waste. Get rid of her now. Once again Dean managed to break my heart. I love the relationship between the two brothers. It was great
finding out more about Bobby.
I hope this show is renewed. They keep brining back the crap that is known as Smallville yet each season I have to wory about this show which is so much better. |

christy1018 wrote:I thought the same thing - that good Dean's eyes turned all black. The all black eyes are so creepy on any of them. *shivers* In Sam's dream, Bella walked in wearing a tan raincoat, yet in reality, she wore a dark one. Maybe his psychic abilities saw the style, but got the color wrong. I'm waiting for a Bella vs Ruby showdown. (Interesting how when someone is called to come help, they're there in minutes to hours vs days of travel time.) |

I don't know which was good Dean and bad Dean, but dreamworld Dean was the one whose eyes turned black.
That was a terrific sequence, sensey or not. So what happened to the stoner dream-causing guy? When his daddy beat him, did he wake up and snap the dream? Or did he die? If not, he's still on the loose. You'd think the boys wouldn't want to leave a guy that still running around. Interesting to see Sammy's psychic abilities re-emerge. I thought they vanished once Yellow Eyes met the Colt. I personally have the hots for Bella, too, as long as she keeps her mouth shut. |

Heads up -- there's a new ep at 9 on Thursday, plus my DVR says they're re-running the bank hostage ep with the demon that jumped around peoples'
bodies at 8.
Dunno what this means. Maybe the FBI Jauvert guy shows up again in the 9pm ep? It'd be fun to get back to that storyline. Fuck. Bella on the loose with the Colt. This will not end well. |

"Now lets go find that handsome devil." Wasn't that the shapeshifter, not a demon jumper? |

Ooops, you are correct! That's right, there were duplicate corpses all over the bank.
I was also wrong about the date: it's next week with the rerun, not tomorrow. |

I'm happy they didn't exhaust the eps in the can during the strike. No news on a renewal yet, huh? It really sucks that the show doesn't get props.
It's like BTVS all over again (at least during the heydays when it was in top form) and never getting recognized as a quality drama with an outstanding
cast.
Back to last week... I was hoping for a real backstory on Bobby and not a passing backdrop to the Colt getting Bella'd. Boo on that. He's very interesting and fits in with the Winchesters naturally. Wasn't it Dean who summoned up freddy kruegger's dad for the beating? Whatever. It just felt shallow to not really delve into Bobby's secretive past. Not even dramatic enough to create suspense. A whiny nightmare version of his bloody wife didn't cut it for me. Dean vs. Dean was heartbreaking. At least he got it off his chest. Reminded me of Buffy and The First having convos. Bullshit on Dean having the hots for Bella. Seemed out of the blue to me. Can't stand her. Ruby moved up a notch in my book as her character is more well developed than that thieving single note hussy. |

Ok, Ok. I too love this show but let's not get
carried away. BTVS was one of the only shows that turned formulaic monster of the week plots into quality television, and mostly because they managed to tie
it into larger season storylines and plots. Supernatural is excellent at what it does but it still panders to an audience that doesn't want or expect
anything profound. Certainly nothing to compare to the network dramas.
Supernatural has a few issues to deal with. Mostly Jared Padalecki's meh acting. Jensen Ackles is surprisingly good considering his background, but he impresses me with his character. Sam's character is ickly one-note for me. I also think that the absence of long term female characters has hurt this show. Yes, they throw new ones in sometimes, but each one has a sale by date and the audience knows it. So, I think Supernatural gets the appropriate attention. It should be kept on the air, but until they iron out a few problems it has it certainly isn't deserving of BTVS-esque cult or critical success. |
