Yea, but some parts of africa are really dangerous... Lord knows Nigeria is the asshole of the world when it comes to crime, and now in other parts they are
having tribal warfare where entire villages are being burned down.

Probst has repeatedly said that Africa was one of his least favorite locations. He said it was miserable for the production and for the Survivors. I
don't care how entertaining the cast might be, people kind of shut down in that type of environment. India may sound very contrived, but then again we
said the same thing about China, and it turned out well... even though it was set on a man-made lake and the tribal campsites contained props like stairs,
archways, and stones. It was contrived, but the cast (one of the best ever) made it work.

I agree with that. The china season was way overrated and the MOST PREDICTABLE EVER!!!!! Please who did not have Todd picked from episode 1. At least Amanda
made a good enough showing in the final 2 episodes to maybe lead us to believe she has a shot.

The china season was way overrated and the MOST PREDICTABLE EVER!!!!!And yet almost every spoiler site got it wrong. Not to mention edgic. Everything is predictable in hindsight. |

What the fuck, you ignorant turd. You're discounting an entire continent because they didn't like one area of it?If you read my post, you'd see that I said I would like to see Madagascar used as a location. Madagascar is an African nation. I'm not discounting the entire continent, just the type of savanna location that was used in S3, which also happens to be the type of landscape that most people think of when they think of Africa. Also, I could do without the rude language when I'm just stating my opinion, thanks. You always seem to root for the nice Christian women like Melinda and Leslie. You should take a page out of their book and start acting like them. |

Melinda was Christian? (Wow..)
I would like to see Zimbabwe (it's not all dry), Morocco (though I doubt it), Nicaragua (just for the volcano thing) and Madagascar is always good. Indonesia would be another good one since it is well known and will drawn in viewers. |

Indonesia is well known?
I still think Africa is a good place to go. |

Hey I really like your New Foundland idea- that would be a brutal series but people might be disappointed by a lack of bikini air time in that series. A
Survivor somewhere near the Mediterranean would be cool as the historical aspect would be fantastic as well as the landscape of the location itself. I expect
that most of the idealic places in the med are probably bought up- but maybe somewhere like Tunisia would be viable option.
Before I watched it I did think the China series sounded really contrived and it was treated much better than I expected- so perhaps there is a chance for India...? I don't think a North American Indian series would work...think of the political minefield that would become. Plus couldn't that seem be like America trying to re imagine it's own colonial history??? I wouldn't buy it. Hey I don't recall any American Indian survivor contestants, ever- is that right, surely there must have been?! |
