Isnt discussing who should go, stratedgy? Stratedgy itself is pretty vague. one could argue that sitting back and doing nothing is a stratedgy. Plotting, scheming, manipulating and making alliances is not the only thing that is considered stratedgy!
Unless Survivor adopts TAR's Non-Elimination episodes, someone has to be voted out. Who should go is the absolute minimum of every
episode. Therefore, I wrote "Hardly" in my post. Also, strategy implies long term planning to reach a goal. The first 6 votes were
presented as simply eliminating the annoying ones.
Sitting back and doing nothing can be a strategy as Jean Robert showed but JR told us it was his strategy. Jed was simply lazy. Being lazy was
an important factor in Clay being the goat but did he tell us it was his long term plan? No, Clay was also lazy by nature, not by design.
Plotting, scheming, manipulating and making alliances are pretty important parts of any strategy and I didn't see any season, besides Thailand, almost
completely devoid of any of those talks in the first few episodes.
