Probst on Danielle - I just know he spoke about her game in a interview with a disdain I haven't heard him express for any F2 player, and that seemed
unwarrented.
Maybe Probst was pissed that she beat Cirie and Terry. After that they moved to F3. She wasn't that articulate either. I rememebr Bob Dawg saying that Parvati gave the producers what they were hoping for with Danielle. |

I remember hearing him specifically refer to her as a "casting mistake". Something about how she managed to fool everybody in all her pre-show auditions & interviews into thinking she was this greatly interesting character, and then once she was on the island ended up being a total dud. Don't you guys remember all that pre-show stuff about how Danielle was supposed to be the female version of Boston Rob? And in regards to all the talk of worthy female contestants, honestly I don't see why they didn't just go with Steph again. Granted I know she's not very well liked around here, but if she was willing to give it a 3rd try, I say they should've let her. You have to admit that she would make more sense as a "favorite" than Amanda does. Plus, she could serve as representation for both Palau & Guatemala, meaning every post-ASS season (plus Pearl Islands) would be represented on the favorites tribe. It just seems like she would've been the more logical choice. And you can't tell me that all the Steph-haters wouldn't absolutely love seeing her ass get booted for a third time (technically second time, but you get my point). |

One of them would have added variety. Or Lydia, but then Cirie is this seasons Novelty Character woman. Or give Ruth-Marie another run. |
