I figured the eye was Locke's but it looked brown to me and Locke's eyes are blue.
Maybe it was Patchy, that guy just won't die.

Well, just got an answer to another one of my questions from last night. At the end of Hurley's car chase, his former boss/employee Randy was in the
background.

I told my daughter last night that I'm thinking the spider episode with Nikki and Paulo will explain how Christian Shepherd got to the Island.
When Jack found the coffin, it was empty. He faked his death to bring these people to the Island - well my daughter laughed at me, but I'm seeing that theory at other boards. Maybe someone has brought it up here and I didn't see it - but I've always thought Christian was the leader of these people and I'm excited I may be right1 |

Could it be that Jacob is assuming the form of Christian?
Anyways, as far as the Oceanic 6 goes...I'm getting the feeling that maybe Jin dies and Sun gets off the island. Also like I believe I said before, Kate probably isn't in the Oceanic 6 because of her fugitive status--why else would she meet with Jack in secret? This means Jack, Hurley, and Sun probably are all in the Oceanic 6...I'm now thinking Claire too, just because Desmond saw her getting off the island. Then there is Sayid--the writers probably want him to get off so he can try to reunite with Nadia. It would not surprise me if he ends up being the one in the coffin...if he learns Nadia has moved on and found a new man (she WAS living in a house in the suburbs) then he might feel he has no purpose left and kill himself. So that leaves one spot left. Possibly Jin or Sawyer, but it could also maybe be Michael. I wouldn't be surprised if during this season, he returns to the island and Walt chooses to stay because he feels he belongs there, and Michael finally lets go of Walt and leaves him alone. Remember, Michael just wants what is best for his son--and if Walt is all grown up and some superpower on the island, he may feel he has to abandon him there. So I'm now thinking it's Jack, Hurley, and Sun for sure...along with Claire, Sayid, and Michael, though I'm less sure of those 3. |

I for some reason thought Randy died in the Tricia Tanaka episode...did he not go into the restaurant with her?

Quick theory here. Naomi and the other guy are from a new Dahrma and they want to take back the control of the island and pursue their investigations of the powers of the island. But they want to use those powers for something terrible. Some will accept anything from Dharma to get out (Oceanic 6) and others just flee in the island to get away from Dharma who wants to clean up the island. And thus become the "New Others". Whoa! |

I assumed Kate met Jack at the airport because "he" would get mad, not because she was in hiding.
When I listened to the whispers, I thought I heard a female voice say, "Hugo, do you have any money?" |

Has there been any discussion about the fact that it started raining right before the 2 groups split, and ostensibly, right before the parachute man landed? In
the past, rain has been a significant marker of the black smoke's presence, right?

I told my daughter last night that I'm thinking the spider episode with Nikki and Paulo will explain how Christian Shepherd got to the Island.I don't agree or disagree with any of this....but wouldn't it be fucked up if Christian had been to the island before, maybe as part of Dharma, and couldn't get back because of the purge and thats why he was always a drunken mess just like Jack turns into. I don't really believe this but it would definitely be a full circle, walk in your fathers shoes, kinda story for Jack. |

Yeah, I think that's interesting, too. I'm beginning to see that the writers don't waste anything, even on characters everyone hated.
Anyone see Jeremy Davies in Rescue Dawn? Every time I see him now, all I'm going to think is, "NO. NO, YOU MAY NOT. YOU MAY NOT HAVE MY SNIFF!!!" That's freaky about "Jacob" being Christian in this instance. I thought the eye was Locke, too, but now with the screencap, it's clearly not. I have to admit it DOES look like Jack's eye, but I can't make any sense out of why it would be Jack. It would have to be Jack in some subconscious form, wouldn't it? |

Just a point about the whole Christian Shepard is still alive thing. Someone made it seem like all the passengers of Flgiht 815 were found and were all dead.
This same person could have made it seem like Christian Shepard was also dead as some sort of cover up.
I dont remember much from season one but did Jack ever actually check the body of his father when he went to recover it? I wont be very suprised if he doesnt end up being dead. Yeah the producers say that when a Character dies they are dead...but perhaps CS didnt die in the first place? We already know someone has the ability to make people who are alive seem dead to the public. About the coffin thing. Assuming the O6 are the only ones that get off the Island, then wouldnt the person in the Coffin be one of them? If the other people are still on the Island then there body wouldnt be in that coffin. So either the O6 arent the only ones to get off...or one of them dies...and its not Jack or Kate. And of course the person in the coffin could be a character that didnt crash on the island and we havent met yet. That will be dissappointing tho since the whole "Who was in the coffin" thing was one of the biggest mysteries of the off season. That would make that mystery seem kinda cheap to me if they did that. |

Seriously - a lady that is helping you is struck in the back by a knife by crazy Locke.....and nobody checks her out to make sure she is dead? in fact, they
just leave her lying there while everybody happily chats waiting to be rescued.... then she has the ability to get up, sneak off while your all there...with
enough time to leave not 1 but 2 trails...WTF?
for what its worth...I think the person in the coffin was Michael.... I think the Oceanic 6 is a nice twist... and holy black smoke batman...christian is alive & behind all of this stuff.... So..why don't the losties go live on the "other" island.... |
