The sun is very similar which is probably what makes it most reminiscent of the hatch mural. It's interesting though, an island with palm trees, a
shark, a boat on the water (the raft? as you said)

Good stuff !!
All I could really add to the conversation is, when Hurley wanted to go to the Asylum I seriously was trippin for the commercial break, because I thought "whoa you mean when Hurley was in the Asylum in that one epi 2 years ago that was a FUTUREBACK?!?!?" Turns out he went back twice but man that would have been a huge mindfuck if the first futureback was actually a long time ago! |

The common theme here is Jack Bender. He has gone on record as doing the Hatch Mural and Thomas' paintings. He "coincidently" is the director of
last night's episode.

I figure Hurley's immersion in the sea is probably representative of baptism in one way or another. And of course we have the cleansing rain as Locke and
company leave for the barracks. Is this representative of the rain starting in the story of Noah's flood? The beginning of the end indeed!
I can't remember how many letters they got in the game of horse. Was it just the letters H for Jack and H O for Hurley? That would be another water reference. H2O. |

Quick theory here. Naomi and the other guy are from a new Dahrma and they want to take back the control of the island and pursue their investigations of the
powers of the island. But they want to use those powers for something terrible. Some will accept anything from Dharma to get out (Oceanic 6) and others just
flee in the island to get away from Dharma who wants to clean up the island.

Jack's celebrity | ||

How'd he go from people asking for his autograph to being a famous "hero" that no one recognized as a member of the O-6? Apprently that beard is
as good a disguies as Clark Kent's specs.
(And in the HORSE game, Jack had H-O, or maybe H-O-R if you count the shot he quit on. Hurley had no letters) |

Speaking of the cityscape in the LOST commercials, I thought I saw a similar city skyline off in the distance when Hurley went to do his cannonball. I saw it
twice. Once as he headed to the water & again when he resurfaced. I can't do screencaps but would like to see it again just to be sure.

I don't have the greatest memory, but I thought the parachuter ("Are you Jack?") at the end kind of resembled one of the dudes that called Penny
from that arctic station. Anyone have screencaps to compare? Or feel free to call me a retard. I dunno, I'm a shitty theorist.

Why are we so sure the flash forwards are real? Maybe they are just a manifestation of the angst they feel about leaving the island? like a dream/premonition
of fears?

From TVguide.com
• Lost returned to an audience of 16.07 mil, a 13 percent drop from the Season 3 opener but a huge improvement over last May's finale (13.65 mil). It also dominated in the demos. • ABC's Eli Stone was sampled by 11.62 mil. |

The patient that told Hurley that Charlie's ghost was staring at him, was that the gadget guy from Alias?

I think the blond guy grabbed Vincent's leash from him. If you continue watching you see the same guy walk by with Vincent towards Locke.

I thought the eye in Jacob's cabin was Charlie. Still do, I thinkt he was wearing his black hoodie, just like when he swam in the water in the mirror in
the interrogation room.
