I'm locking in my answer with 'Locke', for all the reasons given. My second choice would be Ben but I also think it's too obvious. Again, Locke
warned Jack (as did Ben) and Locke has no-one who would come to his funeral as he was an outsider with-in the group. Ben also fits the guilt theory, no loved
ones (I don't believe his adopted daughter would come) and because Jack feels he owes him that much.
Or , it could be the dog. It looked like an area of town where strays hang out. With Michael and Walt gone (assuming they are) the dog, like the cheese, dies alone. Sad.
