throw them anywhere a spider can under and they'll leave
outside too
works for lots of other bugs also, obviously.

I put 3 of those babies in my basement and haven't seen so much as a flea in my house for the past 6 months! There's probably hundreds of little spider carcusses scattered around in the corners and what not, but that's ok because it gives the mice something to feed on!:) |

I feel insanely bad for anyone who has ever had to go to the hospital because of a spider bite.
I'm sure I would be passed out the whole time, whether I got bitten or not, though. That is so gross. And terrifying. Reminds me of when I was a kid, and I went into our playhouse in the back yard when the weather finally got warm. I broke some mud of my play kitchen and out came 80939 spiders. I'm sure I shit myself. |

Hey, I found a better map that more accurately shows which areas they inhabit.

I'd hate to live in that area where the green and blue overlap.Only weirdos, hippies, and Branch Davidians go into that part of Texas. Even the rattlesnakes are askeert. I just drive thru at 90 mph with the windows rolled up and hope for the best. |

trixie, was he in the hospital? this guy was for quite a while in order to rack up that big a bill. And he had no insurance since he's one of thee fringe
entrepeneurs that we know, making his living from buying and selling stuff at flea markets and conventions.

No, cbr, he never went to the hospital, just his doc and then some specialists. I know somebody else who got bit by one of those fuckas last year, on her hip.
It was pretty debilitating and she was out of work for a week, limped for 4 months after, but never in the hospital either.

I think this guy left (ignored) his too long 'cause of the insurance thing - probably figured it was minor and then it got out of hand

It's not the doctors - it's the hospital. Look at an itemized statement - they charge you $10 for a $.50 pill.
