I can certainly understand how she might want to move on to something else after playing the same physically demanding role for seven years. I own the full DVD set for Buffy, and I've noticed that she did not participate in any of the special material (at least not that I've found yet). You never see her in interview clips, talking head shots, panels, or hear her in background commentary with Joss and the others. I seem to remember reading that she won't voice the character in animated material either.

It's a shame; she's a bright girl, I'm sure she must have enjoyed the character at least in the first few years, and I'd be interested in what she has to say. I could understand how she might have been aware of a certain illogic in the plotting toward the end. If Willow had all that witch power, why should Buffy and her Potential platoon even bother to fight the bad guys hand to hand?

Online, I did see one amusing shot of her sitting on the lap of Camden Toy, who played several monsters on the series. He was in the full Ubervamp getup but not looking especially fierce.
