Has Hitlery's camp filed a lawsuit yet, attempting to award Michigan's non-existent delegates to her? If not, watch for a suit to be filed if she doesn't win big on Super Tuesday. If Michiganders knew the Dem primary counted, we would have seen a totally different turnout. Michiganders were told their primary would not count for delegates, and with basically a choice between Hillary and what they had already (nothing, since they had no delegates), Michiganders reacted accordingly by staying home in droves. Now the Clintons want Michigan delegates? But of course, it's always the Republicans who are disenfranchising people. |

At this point I'm just hoping Barack runs this thing out to the convention so it has to be brokered and the Democrats wind up picking Al Gore. Anything to
stop the CLINTONS! It is unhealthy for one family to control a political party for 20 years, as evident by the Bush family's disastrous stewardship of the
Republican Party.

Pretty much what hersavvyness posted, except now with hubris!
Clinton roils vote dispute in presidential race Rewriting party rules after a primary is one thing, but there is nothing like changing the final score after the game has been played. |

Someone explain to me the whole "barred by the national party" and the reason that some democrats don't seem to be running in certain states.
Makes zero sense to me but I haven't really been following all this that closely.

pseudopoganandra wrote: Here's the deal. Basically Iowa and New Hampshire bitched a lot because they were afraid other states would threaten their first in the nation
caucus/primary status. Other states complained because they said Iowa and New Hampshire aren't representative of the country. Thus a semi-compromise was
hatched where the party would honor four states first from the four regions of the country (Midwest-Iowa, Northeast-New Hampshire, West-Nevada, South-South
Carolina). Most states were OK with this although many moved up their primaries to Feb. 5 so as to have more of an impact on the process. Michigan and Florida
though didn't listen and moved up their primaries before Feb. 5 even though they weren't part of the Chosen 4 states thus to punish those states for
not getting with the program of the rest of the country, the Democratic Party stripped them of delegates and urged candidates not to campaign in them so as not
to upset the Chosen 4's place in the choosing the nominee. All the candidates agreed to this at the beginning because they were afraid of pissing off the
voters in the Chosen 4 states but now that South Carolina voting is almost done Hillary is coming out saying Michigan and Florida should get delegates to
distract from her potentially losing South Carolina tomorrow.

Yes, and with the way this administration is going, by the time of the election the polls results will definitely change. By November 2008, 98.6% of
Republicans will vote Democrat.

Especially if McCain is their candidate. If McCain does win the nomination, I think the dem should pick Jim Webb as VP candidate to counter McCain's
appeal.

Do we really want more of Hillary's vast right wing conspiracy nonesense. The Republicans have a strong possibility of losing this election. I could never vote for Obama, I have a different view point then him what is best for the country. If a a Democrat does win th white house, I want the one that would be least harmful to the country. That is Obama, because he at least claims he wants to work with Republicans. |

What I don't get is how these Republican candidates are falling over themselves at every debate to agree with George Bush and defend the Iraq war.
Don't they even have a fricken clue of what's happening ?
At the debate last night Huckabee was saying that just because we didn't find WMD doesn't mean that they weren't there....kinda like if you hide an Easter egg and don't find it, it could still be there or some shit like that. NOBODY believes there was WMD in Iraq anymore. Even the President that he is trying to stick his nose up his ass somewhat admits they may have not been there. |

Many of them also would be willing to back McCain. Notice McCain/Huckabee are pretty civil towards each other. Many of them aren't happy about illegal immigration. Romney says he isn't for illegal immigration, and goes after McCain on his backing of Bush's bill with Ted Kennedy a lot. Remember Bill's comments about "no illegal women". They will never vote for the Clintons. |

Thank you for that explanation. It confirms my worst fears that democrats are a bunch of fucking morons and we are going to be stuck with another Republican in
the white house.
