Slate is running an ongoing discussion about the show that's a pretty good read. More in the sense that the two guys writing it provide a lot of background info and relevant linkage - there's a bit of dorkdom going on, too.
It also has some interesting stuff about David Simon and his long-running tirade against the Baltimore Sun, to which Simon himself responds. I'm suddenly not sure how I feel about the newspaper angle again... and I predict that the last scene of the last episode will probably be a shot of a newspaper. Journey music optional.
