sometimes extreme.

They should just go to where "Endurance" went. After all "Endurance" is the kid show of Survivor and they are in Fiji now. So it's only
Fair that Survivor go to the Taihachapi (sp) or the High Sierras
No? Or am I the only 19 year old that watches that show lol |

It's spelt Maori's.
And there aren't really any "extremes" here in New Zealand. It can get hot but it would be amazing if you ever got a week of temperatures over 35c, when it's hot here it's not like the air is hot it's like you can feel the sun burning you, we have the thinnest part of the ozone layer over us or some shiz like that. There are actually some really cool places that would be good to film here. I would think it would be a logistical nightmare though, we have VERY strict environmental laws etc. |

Haha Mister plum, it's not cows it's sheep. There are more sheep than people. There's about 4 million people, and i dunno about 100 million sheep? |

Yeah, maybe somewhere in Scandinavia. They would do a Viking theme. If they wanted to do Japan, they'd probably have to go to Hokkaido, or Okinawa which is
part of Japan. Would Indonesia be possible? Maybe the Phillipines?

They are not running out of locals...they are just running out of diversity.
All we have to do is be vocal...I remember around S7 when China was the "Its a realistic wish but will still never happen" local and look what happened...probably my favorite post ASS season and not to be an asshole but im not some first season watching newbie. My hopes: 1. Somewhere in Africa where we can see both sides of Africa with one tribe in a desert and the other in a (at least somewhat) rainforest type setting...even if they are located a hundred miles away and are only brought together by cargo plane for challenges. We could learn to live with it. And please don't start with the "Well lets have one tribe in Africa, one in Marquesas, and merge in China then dickhead" 2. Chile - Mainly for the fact that we will get beautiful shots of snowy mountains panning down to the survivors or beaches or rain forest type land. 3. Sicily - Mainly so they can have a bunch of funny gimmicky challenges a la China, but also because it will be beautiful and scenic as well as able to tell a great story relating to how slaves were brought there and what not. |

Galapagos would be awesome and very fitting with Survivor, but can they do it there?
Sicily would be awesome!! I've been hoping for that ever since ASS |

Another African location would be great. There is ALOT more to Africa then a desert and I'm pretty sure alot of Africa is not settled.
South America would be cool to go back to as well. As long as there is some water nearby, I think inland location are much better than islands. Shouldn't this be in 17+? |

MB has travelled to Madagascar and has probably done some scouting there already. Madagascar is having terrible deforestation/endangered species troubles and
Survivor could jump on the "green" thing and build awareness of the threats to Madagascar. AND it's beautiful, home to a host of native plants
and animals and has dry & wet tropical forests. Also there's pygmy tribe history that MB mentions in his autobiography. India (hindu religion, asiatic
elephants/tigers/lions) Peru (Inca history, gold theme) Congo ("heart of darkness" theme, charismatic mammals)

My thoughts: Canada would be great, but whoever said that calling it Survivor: Canada might not have much appeal is probably right. They could call it
"Survivor: Land of Mystery" or something instead, and not even tell the players where they are playing until post-merge when they fly them to some
Canadian city for a reward. Sicily also sounds interesting. agentpf1101, yes, the Romans were conquerors and did use gladiators. However, I'm not sure they
could find a place that was remote enough on Sicily - I think that there are settlements every couple of miles all the way around the island. Galapagos, Africa
V.2, Australia V.2, and many of the others are all possibilities. In short, there are plenty of places for Survivor to go that I would enjoy.

Sicily? What the fuck you people. First of all, its in Europe, which automatically makes it inherently unexotic to the average American, and therefore
unSurvivorish. Second of all, you could not find a single truly remote and secluded beach to film on.

I personally would love to see Survivor: Namiba, Skeleton Coast.
The Skeleton Coast is one of the most desolate places on earth and it would make a cool backdrop. |
