I just want to say what a great, great leg this one was. No matter who one, even if the asshole Ron would have won. THis is the type of leg every final should
be. One equalizer at the beginning and the rest all up to you and local transportation. Ron & Christina lost because of not that Tk & Rachel were young
and fit, but because of two factors one Christina eat up a lot of time at the glacier, and mostly due to her being unable to figure out a puzzle.

I didn't like how the teams had to rely so much on their taxi drivers for the final leg.
Let them drive themselves or bike, etc. |

They don't let teams drive themselves in the finale leg (except for the family edition) because the are afraid that the pressure of a million will cause an
accident.

Well out of the 10 regular seasons we have had two teams that weren't dating/married or alpha males. Flo & Zach who weren't dating. And BJ &
Tyler, two non alpha males (that would be like someone saying Avi & Joe were Alpha Males).

If you can't tell the different personalities between Rob & Brennan, Chris & Alex, the Linz's, Tyler & James and BJ & Tyler then you
seriously need to either get your TV fixed, or check your hearing and vision. Because their is a big difference.

I mean I understand people not liking teams for a huge number of reasons. And I can understand not wanting or rooting for fit people (for example if that was
the case you don't root for Lori & Bolo the strongest team their season), you don't root for (Ray & Yolanda quite possible the physically
strongest team their season). But that is different then saying a group of several different teams are the same. I mean why not say Erwin & Godwin are the
same as Rob & Brennan. Both in shape and intelligent. Yet their personalities are widely different.

Well that certainly wasn't my preference for a winner... But I hated Nate & Jen, so I'm just glad it wasn't them.
Thanks, SLD, for doing the PBP all season long. I live on the east coast, so I see the show when you do, but it's still fun to follow along. |

Actually this seemed to be the wishes of the producers. Was I the only one who seemed to notice how quickly TK/Rachael got through their speed bump? It
didn't seem to take a fraction of time that the Goths had to spend at their speed bump. And I'm not sure they even stayed for the
"celebration" like they were told they had to do. At least the producers didn't show that...only them suiting up, running through the fire and
getting doused by water. Hardly a hick-up in their leg.
That being said, Kudos to the top three. Ron/Chris won a bunch of legs (translating to prizes) -- Nick and Don won a leg as well. I guess the moral of this season was slow and steady wins the race. I am just thrilled that the winner was one that I didn't hate, didn't spend half the trip screeching and or criticising their partner and played the game without resorting to "low" moves (like telling a ticketing agent to not sell someone else a ticket ala Chris). Nick and Don were pretty upstanding and I wouldn't have minded seeing them win either. NOW for future TAR's, if I was a player I would definitely make notes of countries and their flags in a journal. If that wasn't allowed, I would be sure and Jedi drill along the race to make sure that all the legs, in proper order were committed to memory. |

I will now officially root for any team that is not a straight couple or comprised of two young men.
Maybe a female lesbian twin team will win next season! |

That is the truth, regardless of the outcome. For once it wasn't decided by by dumb luck or taxi driver roulette in the final 10 minutes after an equalizer. It was another mental challenge like the Hippies won in TAR 9. I thought Christina would win, but the bland girl beat her. It was like Adam winning that mental IC over Yul and Becky in Cook Islands. |

I'm so so so sad for Ron and Christina with passion. They should've won. TK and Rachel is okay for me its just that it seems that they didn't try
hard although they also have lots of struggles in the middle of the race but Ron and Chris..

Dating couples are the new Alpha males. And they only start winning because they stop casting alpha-males: the only strong all-male team in TAR5-6-7-11-12 was Danny/Oswald.
