Dated George Brett's best friend (another pro ball player, way less famous) and hung out with lots of baseball players and pro golfers. Almost all of my brushes with fame are athletes.

I have lots of fond memories of Loretta Lynn's legs bleeding because she had just shaved them. June Carter Cash so doped up she hit a tree in the parking lot at school picking up the girls from school. There were not impressive at all. Barbara Mandrell's sisters would just get naked in gym class and walk around. B Mandrell does have the prettiest sea blue eyes I have ever seen though. David Bowie fell off the stage on me and 2 others at the spiders from mars tour. Whatever that guy that busts the watermelon has been comedian barfed in the middle of the airport, I could have kicked myself for not asking him if he needed some more ludes, he was wasted.

Stood next to Cameron Diaz in the security line at LAX last year. AJ Burnett propositioned me during a rain delay at a Marlins game. I used to do teleprompter for the Sonny Lubick show. He is tiny and one of the kindest men I have ever met. Terrell Davis was on my flight home from NYC. I told the people next to him that they were sitting next to someone famous. I thought he might kill me until I said - This man has been on Sesame Street. I could hear him tell the entire story - he was so proud. I stood next to the blond guy from Hall and Oates at the baggage claim in Laguardia. I didn't know who he was until some old lady came up to get his autograph. Clyde Drexler - Denver Airport. SO nice. Yes - I spend a lot of time in airports.

The Camp fire girls (sort of like girl scouts) had gone out for pizza and we ran into him and some of his entourage. We were thrilled, so thrilled we had to sing Super Freak to him. He just laughed and told us to have a good night. I got to shake Bill Clinton's hand when he came to speak at the University of Buffalo. Met most of the Goo Goo Dolls when they were a high school/college band since a friend of mine was in a small local band that would play with them. Also a few children's book authors for work.

My friends couldn't figure out what happened when they saw me in an embrace with Ryan). Also, Charles Barkley worked for a radio station across from my office. Cool guy.

They moved it from Secaucus to an even more desolate part of New Jersey. (No...I didn't think that was possible, either.) I love Val but he needs to step away from the Kraft services table. I remember meeting a ton of oldie but goodie actors at the ones in Secaucus..Richard Keil (Jaws from the BOND series) was cool as hell.

I met Aida with her cousin John on a flight to Venice Italy a few years back. They were going to the Venice Film Festival...my wife was their flight attendant. Kewl people, really, really awesome She was super friendly.
