But yeah, as you were probably expecting, I'll send everyone who played a song (in addition to the winning ones). I don't really want to go through my whole collection here but it's mostly rock stuff...if you have anything specific in mind PM me and we can figure it out, or if you just want Beatles' Special™ then I'll send you something random I think you'll enjoy. But I'm going back to campus early next week so if we don't get it sorted out by Monday, you might have to wait a while.

GASP! CL missed a Borneo question! Gervase said that if Kelly won, she could stuff it in Sue's face. This is still my absolute favorite voting confessional ever--Sue's speech gets a lot of credit but everyone overlooks Gerv's hysterical, increasingly angry response. I think it might be the longest one ever on the show too.

My only complaint about the All-star premiere is there's no Colleen, and Tina gets one confessional and leaves. Especially waiting years to see both of them play again. But the cast they got was pretty impressive to agree to come back.

Very true. I think it's in the same category as Jerri's boot--it's outside circumstances and hype that made what would've otherwise been pretty good episodes into fantastic ones. But Jerri's boot was a nine-week wait. ASS was three years in the making (I still remember when it was set to be after S4--I really wonder who would've made the cut then, if Colleen or Lis would've agreed, and how much it would've thrown off Survivor lore).

Although I have to admit I think the finale of Borneo is overrated. maybe because at the time I hated everyone left. I loved the final TC and it's a top 50 worthy, but I guess it's just me.

It's definitely not a likable group, but like CL said, it was finally down to the alliance (or "cheaters" as most people saw them); they had no choice but to cannibalize each other, so for the first time the manipulation and backstabbing was satisfying to watch. But what I really love about it is that it has so many classic moments--four of the jurors deliver some great, memorable comments/questions (Colleen, Rudy, Sue, Greg); Rich quitting the last challenge...not to mention three of the all-time greatest Survivor characters in the final four.

I'm surprised there weren't more China episodes, or the final 6 ep for EI.

Yeah, China probably deserved to have a few more entries. I wanted to be sure that I was going for individual episodes and even though I considered the Jaime and JR boots, limiting it to 50 meant I had to cut some great ones. The JR one I think was in the final batch of cuts...EI F6 I thought about but even though it's a fantastic move, it didn't fit the 'mold' of the rest of the list if that makes any sense.

The biggest surprise for me was that it wasn't Borneo that had the most entries, but Marquesas. It's kind of like TAR3; neither of them are my favorite seasons but thinking about it, I think that they both do probably have the strongest individual episodes overall--I guess there's just something about the whole story and arcs of Borneo, PI, and TAR2 that top Marquesas and TAR3 respectively.
