No, that's the war canoe that Wezzie spoiled as being the boats that the tribes start on. This is from the very beginning of the episode.

Right! That's what I'm thinking, smoke. The Fans have just been rowed to shore by local warriors. The Favs are probably just down the beach, arriving
in a similar ceremonial war canoe.
Large bright red canoes, borrowed from municipalites in Palau, were used for the Dramatic Opening. Then, according the images, the tribes were given smaller war canoes to use during the game. |

THERE ARE ONLY NINE ALL STARS IN THAT SHOT AND IF I'M RIGHT AND THATS JOHNNY FAIRPLAY AT THE FRONT OF THEIR BOAT, THEN JONATHON IS MISSING. SO MAYBE HE WAS SENT TO EXILE ISLAND, AS MENTIONED BY SOMEONE ELSE

That logic doesn't make sense though. He would then not be able to vote at tribal council. (And if you say that Fairplay has already quit, then he
wouldn't be getting into the boat.) He's probably off camera to the left of Fairplay (I'd say untying the boat, but it looks like the side with
James has the rope.)
ETA Unless there's an RC (doubtful.) Also, it looks like someone (Mikey B?) is putting the tribe flag on the boat, but the All Star's flag isn't visible. Maybe they just forgot it and Jonathan went back to get it.

I think this pic is when they first arrive, and not a challenge. From the looks of it, there is no sense of urgency for it to be a challenge.

It looks to me like the Newbs start out on what was Koror's camp the cliffs and vegetation look about right. They should have food if they are decent
gathers with the snakes, (rats if they want), clams and fruit.... Even sharks if they are able.

In the picture, both the all-stars and the newbs have only 9 players. Perhaps 1 person for each team dose another part of the challenge.
