Charla would've puked out the rest of her guts if they left early, and then she would be dead.

bunching does not = "rigging"
The hours of operation could just as easily been at the road block vs. finding the building. While the producers don't plan who gets eliminated, they do their best to try and get the teams to race to the pit stop...it provides drama. It's part of the game, get over it. They've actually done a good job of keeping the bunching to a minimum this season. |

Well if they couldn't predict which teams would be liked/disliked they definitely could not predict a old father and his daughter who initially didn't
get along would make it to Taiwan either!

Bunching has always been a part of AR. It really does make the checkin with Phil more exciting though when you don't know who it is going to be.

It seemed to be an all bunching episode first with the odd 10 am opening time but then there was plenty of time to get to the airport anyway as TK and Rachael
seemed to waste quite a bit of time on finding the garden clue but it was left very vague as to what flight they managed to catch but they were luckily saved
by the massive immigration lines which they seemed to be ahead of the others in line.
The bullet train seemed a little more suspect however as Ron and Christine were able to get on board the 7:15 train at 7:13 but at 7:31 tickets were no longer available for the 7:36 train hmm. And of course Tk and Rachael made it just in the nick of time to get on the 8:00 train wow what suspence!! More likely they rolled into the station at 7:45 after completing their 10 minute speed bump. |

I posted this in another thread. I could have sworn I heard TK & Rachel say they had to get to the airport to catch the 1:00 flight as they were searching
for the floating garden clue. This would have been before they even knew about going to Taipei next. Could it be that production told everyone what
they'd be doing & they just threw in the "find the clue" bit as an equalizer? It felt very odd to me. Something was off. Or maybe I just
heard wrong.

It wasn't rigged - there's always at least one shitty team in the finals (except for TAR3. And because of that oversight the production team got their revenge by making TAR4 the worst season ever). This was the most poorly designed leg this season, though - including the TAR: Asia one with the octopus detour that took about 2 hours less than the other one. They don't rig toward particular teams, but they will make sure teams will stay relatively close to one another. They do in the sense of being lenient with the rules in certain cases - Romber managed to avoid penalties that I can't imagine an unknown team getting away with, and there's plenty of incidents where it's hard to tell the involvement of production (e.g. Heather/Eve's interviews about the "walk" clue). |

With the bullet train it showed them getting on the train at 7:13, but that doesn't mean Ron/Chris bought tickets at that time. They could have got there
at 7 and gotten the tickets and gotten to the train at that time. We don't even know how far it was to talk from the ticket counter to the train.

What happened with Heather & Eve?If I recall correctly, Heather and Eve were the team that suffered a penalty because they took a taxi to the Pit Stop rather than traveling by foot. |

What happened with Heather & Eve? They're kinda the Stacey Stillmans of TAR - here's an interview about what happened: Heather: Horrible! We were completely shocked - we thought we were on the right track. We got into the cab without reading the clue, and then we realised the instructions. But the cameraman indicated that we didn't have to walk, it was just a safety brief like we had in a previous stop. Eve: He said," Walking was just a safety memo thing…" Heather: That's why we walked into the castle, we didn't run in. It was frustrating, we shouldn't have listened to the cameraman. It's easy to say that was just them trying to save face, but I give them the benefit of the doubt, because I don't know why they'd lie so adamantly to save face when it would obviously make them look like complainers as well as idiots if it wasn't true. |

They just chose not to show it - does that mean she's a winner and they don't want her to look bad (even though it is acceptable, in my eyes - it's a race). |

Yah. I definitely agree to the thread starter... Really really bad.
But well, it was fine for me to see Jen and nate go... They are like the most desperate teams in the race... And also, they were like the reason why Kynt and Vyxin was eliminated... I terribly miss them... I really thought that they will make it to the final 3 but not... Ok ok!!! Go Ron and Christina!!! Prove that brains is over physical strength!!! |

I'm sure there are many places they go to that have hours of operation, only they all make it there in time so we aren't shown that. |
