I don't think Jenna was a bad winner, I just think she got very...lucky. She really had lady luck on her side.

Jenna will forever be my favorite winner ever. She was hot and kind of bitchy...what more could you ask for? After a string of boring fuck winners like Earl
and Yul, we could use another Jenna or two.
Jenna leaving All-Stars ruined that season. Even though it made for a really dramatic/sad episode, I think she could have gone really far if she hadn't left. Definitely she was in the best position of all the winners. Maybe she could have taken down Romber? |

My Favourite winner too. I love the thought of her taking down Romber. I truly think she would have gone far into that season.

Jenna is probably my favourite female survivor. (trailing closely are Shii Ann, Sandra, Cirie, Ami, Peih-Gee) I think she played a strong game in the Amazon,
winning the immunities and beating Matt 6-1, and I respected her decision to leave All-Stars because she knew how to separate the game and life, unlike other
All-Stars. She's also really funny on Survivor Live and the All-Stars commentary. Had she not quit though, she probably would have been the winner to make
it the furthest, being part of Lex/Kathy/Shii Ann's alliance. But I still think she's a great person, a great winner, and since we haven't gotten
many female winners recently, it just amplifies Jenna's 6-1 victory over a man.

I like Jenna as a winner on The Amazon because she was so up and down all the time. She went from wanting to go home, to fighting through those last few
immunity challenges, being betrayed and having her friend voted off, to winning the whole thing. Winners like Yul, Earl, Brian, and Tina are great but they
pretty much had the game in their pocket the entire time. With Jenna nothing was sure, but she still managed to pull through.
Yeah, she showed some unattractive qualities, but don't we all have them? |

day 1, now I won". Yawn.

and Jenna had an entertaining personality...something few winners have. I think it's just her, Sandra, Rich and maybe Todd who were entertaining and won.

I couldn't stand Jenna during Amazon. I don't think the reasons need to be said yet again, they're well known enough. I completely disagree with
any notion that she played a great social game. She played a great social game in relation to Matt, who was one of the worst strategic and social
players the game has ever seen.
While I completely agree with the opinion that the final immunity challenge was heavily tilted in her favor, I gotta make the same point I make about Danielle and the Exile Island F3 challenge. It's not exactly fair for us to complain a lot about a challenge or two being tilted in a woman's favor when such a ridiculous percentage of the challenges in this show are titled in a man's favor. Jenna came off much better in everything post-Amazon. Countdown til Jenna herself appears in this thread... 5... 4... 3... 2... |

I think she lucked out that many people in her cast were on the same highschool mentality as her. I don't see her winning any other season.

I'd prefer the final IC to be a pure test of endurance, like it is with Hands on the Idol, but if they have to mix it up and make every challenge favor some type of physique, at least make sure there are balancing challenges that favor women as well. |

I think Jenna's strategic game is completely underrated...
She knew that her initial strategy of flirtation wouldn't work on an all-female tribe, so she grouped together with other girls that had similar initial strategies. So she alligned with Heidi and Shawna. Some people might think it was just a friendship or clique of the younger girls, but it was still a valid alliance. Then, when the tribe elected Deena as the leader, Jenna and her alliance alligned themselves with Deena, so they would have more power in the tribe. The alliance also kept some relations with Christy, who helped them with several votes. At the tribal shuffle, she may have revealed too much information, but in her drafting selections, she picked younger males, who would have alligned with women more easily than the older men who already had an alliance. At the new Jaburu, Rob suggested that the tribe stay together through the merge, and not revert to a gender war. At the merge, Jenna and Deena reconnected with Heidi, and Jenna was always contributing to the strategic decisions made by Deena and Rob. Rob, Deena and Jenna also had a deal to go to the final three. She and her alliance chose to vote out Roger, so that a woman would have a better chance at the jury. Jenna rejected Rob's final 2 deal after he betrayed the alliance, instead trying to get to the final 3 with Heidi and Christy. It didn't work, but Christy was voted out instead. After winning the last 2 immunity challenges against the men in the tribe, she made it to the final 2 and deserved her win. She made bold statements at tribal council, saying she always would want to compete against the best, so she brought Matt to the final 2, knowing he was not the best, but making the jury think she was bringing the better player. At the final immunity challenge, in front of the jury, she made strong decisions, rejecting Rob's attempted deals, determined to win. She also was the only person ever to win immunity and give it away at tribal council, showing the jury that she's not selfish. |

I don't think Jenna's social game was bad, I think it was quite good, with most people. Isn't it accepted that she would have beat almost
anyone, except Rob C., and that even Heidi's bedmate Dave would have voted for Jenna over her?
That being said, I was a big hater in Amazon, but she won me over in All Stars... felt so bad for her. |

She was my favorite winner...by 6th season we needed a young female winner and I remember being so ecstatic she won. Plus she was from my city
(pittsburgh!) so there was always a bit of sports-team mentality in me liking her too. The Amazon is still my favorite season overall. The only winners
i've been more excited to see win since her were Chris, Aras and I guess Todd.

I think she lucked out that many people in her cast were on the same highschool mentality as her. I don't see her winning any other season. That's a very good point, WD. It was high school all over again, with the 'cool kids' Jenna, Heidi, Shawna and Alex, the 'geek who wanted so hard to hang with the cool kids' Rob, and the 'losers' Christy, Matt and Butch. Heck, you had people like Roger, Butch and Dave committing game suicide by trying to get rid of Christy (who had been on the same tribe as them for a while) rather than dare to align themselves with her and try to take out one of the cool kids :P But at the same time I must say that every cast is unique in some way. It is hardly fair for us to criticize Jenna and Jenna alone with respect to the mentality of her cast without turning around and using that same methodology to examine all other winners as well to see whether that mentality had a huge effect on the winner's game like it did with Jenna's. |

what high school mentality? the nerd was the one with the power the entire game, if you want a season with high school mentality, see ASS. Besides, your so-called high school mentality was merely a result of the then-revolutionary battle of the sexes. |

Heck, you had people like Roger, Butch and Dave committing game suicide by trying to get rid of Christy (who had been on the same tribe as them for a while) Yeah I never really understood this weird idea of targetting Christy. My guess is that the men thought she was the most likely to receive votes on the women's side. |
