I was wondering the same thing.. all the japanese everywhere then suddenly post office in english? I was surprised to see no english on the signs at all- strange.With all the Japanese visitors to the US, why don't you have the signs in both languages as well?

Because English is the International Language, silly.
You're talking about contestants who can't be bothered to learn how to read a map or drive standard vehicles before applying to the show. (Should be easy enough to buy a pocket dictionary and memorize a few words at the airport though) |
