I hope that when my daughters have children, one of them will name a daughter my grandmother's name - Alta, or my father's middle name - Oakley.

I had a co-worker who wanted to name her first child Fairchild if it was a boy. She had girl. Then she was coming up with all kinds of fucked up names for
her second kid. The worst of which was Cecil! We gave her a list of about 40 names so she wouldn't name the kid Cecil!
Her kids names are Morgan and Griffin which aren't the greatest of names of but least they aren't Fairchild and Cecil! |

My daughter's name is a palindrome.
My husband was named after his father. It's been a huge pain in the ass. I was named after both my parents. |

Daughter -- Gabriella Rose
Son -- Angelo Charles Their pedi always picks on his name tho. She thinks one's too Italian which it's not, it's Croation for us, for the English Charles. He was named after his Great Grampa Celestino Angelo who was changed to Charles Phillip when he came thru Ellis Island. I couldn't tag him with Celestino, as much as I wanted to. The Girl was named 'Gabrielle' by her Father, but I wanted 'Rose' for the Vigin Mary so I changed the elle to ella. The influx of Madeline's pisses me off, I always thought it was cool I was the only one around. Named after Gramma. |

Some of these names in this thread are messed up though. I once knew a Pandamonia, Panda for short. Someone must have been high when they named her. |
