I love Angelica. She has a great understated way about her. I hope she and Allison run rings around the Phoenix court system.

24 hours.... can you feel the excrement?!
When last we left Mrs. DuBois, her identity had been revealed by smarmy bitch reporter Neve Campell (but who, may I repeat SAW THE KNIFE YES SHE SAW THE KNIFE) before being slaughtered by an especially oily Jason Priestly, her hubby Joe is out of a job and facing issues finding gainful employment now that his wife's unmasked as a pscyhoperson, and Bridget, well Bridget's still "special." This is an awesome series for those with interest. I've been as worried about these people in the offseason as I have been since the first long Lost offseason. |

This is one series I have been anxiously awaiting its return. It's not often that we see a normal family (the irony considering she sees dead people :wink)
on television. It's one of the reasons I loved Roseanne so much. She is so good in this role because easily it could go OTT but she does it with such
restraint and I love Joe.

yeah I got creeped out twice, first with them finding the kid then the kid with the rat's head! great opener!
I could have done without the sound of music crap, though. And that opening with them interviewing people about what happened last season sucked. |

I actually really liked the opening sequence. Usually you get the random clips of the last 2 episodes before the season finale, but I like this approach.
This show was a prime example of why I love the program as a whole. I was creeped out with the stripping dream sequence, the little boy in the doll box and then the rat/mouse headed doll. I think I actually said 'Oh no!' out loud when they showed the little boy, and the dream sequence showing the parents was just soul destroying. And I liked the singing stuff. It pushed the who 'reveal' into a kind of altered state. It was almost ethereal. (And who would have though Scanlon was a Quick Draw McGraw???) Angelica was good. Understated, but very good. |

Awesome ep.
Medium's creepiness offset by the domestic drudgery of the duBois household is the trademark of the series, and brings to mind the Buffy double whammy of pure horror offset by humor. Disturbing tactic, used beautifully in both series. I kinda the opening, too. The My Favorite things montage was well done, too. Wonderful use of the minor characters as well. No love yet for Ali's new hairdo? It's the first time they've let her look affirmatively attractive. |

I love Anjelica Huston. She is such a superb actress - everything about her is so understated, yet she controls the entire scene when she's in it.

DA's thunder.

I was thinking that they should open a private detective agency or something. It looks like working for Davalos the defense attorney isn't going to work
out too well. I love William Sadler though, so it will be cool to see him in Medium next week
