Ha ha, and be wary what you're "beasting" for on the asian streets...or any street food, for that matter....they might well serve you some strange beast...ha ha trust me, I know!!
It's been ages but I went with my parents to the one on Park Ave. Mom is a big fan of his books....reminded her of a renegade Pico Iyer on a culinary
tip. She was disappointed when he wasnt in the kitchen. We had the typical brasserie fare of steak au poivre, osso bucco, canard au confit, terrine de
faison.........it was aight, nothing stellar 
Spent a year in Japan, travelled all over Southeast Asia and have cultivated pretty adventurous palate
......I cant tell you how much I miss the yakatori yatai stands and the
spicey tender mystery meat satays and stuffed sio pao/har kao dumplings vendors served up in Chiang Mai and HK :::pavloviandrools omg dont even get me started
on roadside/floating market pho and udon and congee
