I missed Super Freak? Please with those lollipop headed Jon Benet's you tell me Claire won? Right and daddy wants his "little girl" to be self sufficient so she will stop showing him why she is still a little little girl via a shaved vadge.

She's going to get slapped in the face really hard when she gets out in the world. She's OK looking but not a raving beauty but who knows they maybe saving up for plastic surgery too for her. I was embarrassed for her when she couldn't read crutches in that post swap montage. The other families oldest daughter may not be popular or hott but I think she will adjust to adult life a lot easier. I just wished we'd been shown her interacting outside the home with some other teens. I'm not too thrilled with this current princess culture that is so popular (thanks to Disney!) with the younger girls these days but I think that her mom will ensure there are other influences in her life other then playing at pretty princess. Between this show and the second Nanny show I am sad about how some parents are just seeing their kids as things to mold, live vicariously though, or just use for their own purposes.

She had beautiful long hair and a cute little figure (not that cute of a face however) and she won lots of little trophies. She wasn't a good student in high school and has now graduated and still living at home with no job and no idea what she's going to do with her life. She'll probably find some older guy with money to marry her and support her.

I got an icky feeling about the BQ's dad. Seems like he is a little too in to his daughter's average looks. The fact that two ugly people could produce a daughter that isn't as ugly as them has gone to their heads. Mom and Dad - she isn't all that. The daughters in the other family will grow up to be doctors, lawyers or CEOs. The best the BQ can hope for is to marry a doctor, lawyer or CEO. One is guaranteed, the other is not - especially since she is a lazy, rude moron. Good on the feminist mom for pointing out on tv that she cheated on her homework and how embarrassing it must be for her to admit this. I think I hate the BQ dad more than the mom. He says Feminist mom is degrading his daughter by teaching her about women that have made a difference with their brains and then goes on to call feminist mom a pig. He is the degrading one, for thinking his daughter will only be good for one thing in her life. Something tells me, he wants to be first in line.

Seems to me the kid was picked on by "popular" kids and the parents pulled her out. Now by definition wouldn't a strong powerful woman need to learn to survive in public school? I can't believe no one is commenting on the Quaker Dad spinning tires trying to get away from the BQ Mom. Would crashing into the neighbor's lawn be a lot more destructive to the kids then makeup?

Oprah was a nice pat pageant answer. I completely agree that Oprah would cross my mind first but I think FemMom wanted Alicia to try to come up with someone else who also is a strong female but might not be the first person on the tip of your tongue. I could see the wheels in Alicia's mind spinning and burning trying to come up with another answer. I always thought Rosa Parks "stood up" for civil rights not "standed up". I do hope Alicia's teachers watched last night's episode.

Entertainment people, sports figures are too often role models in this country.. we have many people virtually ignored or in this case relegated to the "woman who stood up on the bus" as a reference.. and since it was sitting not standing she managed to get even that wrong. Feminist mom wasn't allowing her daughters to be themselves.. ironic since that is what she was saying to BQ daughter "be yourself" well to her own Little Miss Sunshine that meant dressing up and playing princess.. even dad figured out that she could have character and still be "girlish" when SHE CHOSE to be. Even the eldest daughter didn't realize that she was a pretty girl and that did not take away from her accomplishments or plans in life. But Sparkle, jesus.. mom was a fug.. hell fug isn't even a strong enough word and obviously NOT popular, pretty or whatever and took that kid to the Jon Benet Paris Hilton School of Sluts and Models and thought that was a good idea for life.. meanwhile Daddy Dearest is definitely doing more than spray on tanning with a bathing suit on..

My guess is they got scammed at the mall by those "You're so hot you should be a model" people and shelled out a ton of cash for the pictures/training seminar. Also I wish I had a screen cap, but there was one picture they kept flashing that had a close up of her face in like a black Dr. Zhivago type hat that I think all these BQ people seem to have, it must be a prerequisite. It was very JonBennet/Show mom and dads. God I miss that show.
