LOVEJONZE,, What we did on the show for challenges are so very different from how things actually work in the real job of designing!! You couldn't have said it any better or clearer. From time to time I often worried that I had come across as a flaky designer with inept skills!! It makes me feel alot better to know that your able to see the reality of what goes on as opposed to what goes on in challenges. Thanks so much for that!

MISS ALLEY SHACK & CHRONIC,,, My favorite thing about the article,,,,,they didn't mention Project Runway Canada at all!! We got chosen to be in the" top 10 people to watch" on our own merits!! Not that I'm bitter about my experience on the show,, It's just nice to be given props for something separate from it. Thanks for your well wishes everybody!!

Been a while since i was last here,,,,,,didn't think anyone was still posting,, it slowed down so much!!!
ARROMAS,,,, truth be told,,, Biddell did have a way of dealing with people that I found really hard to understand!!! He was very in your face and very much a shit disturber. I have alot of confidence in him and his work but I was one of only a few of the contestants who was able to separate the work from the person. Even though I think his personality was a bit abrasive, and I didn't approve of him as a role model....I do think it's just because he's young. I do see that he has in him, the ability to be a WONDERFUL role model!! When I was his age, I had much the same attitude toward things,,, swore like a trucker and did things just to piss people off!!! Since Biddell has won the competition I've noticed that he's been able to be more conscious of the fact that people(especially young people) may be watching, and looking up to him. That kind of thing only comes with experience I think.
The whole time i was on the show, it was always in the back of my mind that my young niece and nephew would be watching this!! I didn't change my behavior,, I just made sure not to swear and always showed respect for others!! There's enough bad behavior on TV(and in everyday life),, and no one needs to see more of that! From what I've seen of Biddell since,, I really think that he's managed to filter out all the bad stuff and still keep his edge!! He's so charming on camera and speaks so well!! I'm really proud of him.
As for the ELLE CANADA thing,,,,,,you all know i think RITA IS A TOOL!!!!! but both Biddell and his clothes looked great!!! Hard to say what that spread would have looked like if Lucian (rita's fav. ) had won,,,, but whatever!! One magazine spread isn't gonna make OR break him as a designer!!! What is gonna make him as a designer is his great taste and his amazing charm!!!
