NYJ/NE at 8-7. Dolphins at Gilette for finale, NYJ playing GB. NE actually mounted the comeback to beat Miami down 11 with 3 minutes to go, but GB rested all of their starts so the Jets won. 3 way tie-breaker went to NYJ.

Perhaps it coems from his dating of actresses and models? Combined with his looks, I think a lot of people see him as untouchable, whearas Peyton, with his goofy accent and normal looks is simply more accessible.

I don't know, maybe he makes enough money and just couldn't be bothered with the commercials. Unlike Peyton, who never turns down the chance to get his ugly mush on TV.

I agree with that, I think it has something to do with how the Patriots are run. I remember the 2001 Superbowl against the Rams and when they were introducing the players, the Rams went first and then they said that the Pats wanted to be introduced as a team. Manning is a star, kind of like Jordan for the Bulls. And he is more relatable than Brady. I love all his commercials except that wierd one where he is running around a hotel or something.
