13. Under The Blacklight - Rilo Kiley
I liked "Dejalo" & "15" better then "Under The Blacklight."
Wow, talk about weird. Dejalo and 15 are the two songs on that album that I really don't care for.

Who buys albums anymore, anyway? iTunes has made this a singles world. And thus: TDT's most listenable songs of 2007, in no particular order (shuffle
recommended)...
1. "The Pelican" - Menomena 2. "Tonto" - Battles 3. "Halftime at the Proper Name Spelling Bee" - Fishboy 4. "Be Less Rude" - Frightened Rabbit 5. "Clever Girls Like Clever Boys Much More Than Clever Boys Like Clever Girls" - Pelle Carlberg 6. "If You Take Away the Make-Up (Then The Vampires They Will Die)" - Tullycraft 7. "Our Bi-Polar Friends" - Johnny Foreigner 8. "The Equestrian" - Les Savy Fav 9. "Fireworks" - Animal Collective 10. "Lolita" - Throw Me the Statue 11. "Alligator" - Grizzly Bear 12. "1,2,3,4" - Feist 13. "D.A.N.C.E." - Justice 14. "Summer's Life" - The Shaky Hands 15. "I Hate You, Rob Crow" - Rob Crow 16. "And You Lied To Me" - The Besnard Lakes 17. "+81" - Deerhoof 18. "Run To Your Grave" - The Mae Shi 19. "Weatherbees" - Misha 20. "From Nothing to Nowhere" - Pinback 21. "Heart of Hearts" - !!! 22. "The Man Trying to Outfox Us All" - We All Have Hooks For Hands 23. "Rockist Part I" - School of Language 24. "I Am John" - Loney, Dear |

I love it, but I always been into house music. They hooked me with "Genesis", not "D.A.N.C.E."

giving away all of my LPs has made me kind of looking around for new stuff.
Not really too into the more electronica sound on a lot of these albums in this thread. Happy to have old and new recs. PS. Kooyah, you didn't tell me jose gonzales did a pretty great cover of Love Will Tear us apart or that the Killers butchered Shadowplay. |

The Killers covered "Shadowplay"? News to me. Sounds like a recipe for gross. I actually don't like that cover of "Love Will Tear Us
Apart."
Is The Avett Brothers' Emotionalism listed here? It should be. One of the greatest of 2007, especially "Shame." NAA, other than The Avett Brothers, here are some other albums check out: American Analog Set, Know by Heart, specifically: "Punk as Fuck" and "The Only One" M. Ward, Post-War Pernice Brothers, Discover a Lovelier You or The World Won't End, specifically: "There Goes The Sun," "Saddest Quo," and "Flaming Wreck" Tapes 'n Tapes, The Loon, specifically: "Insistor" The Twilight Sad, Fourteen Autumns, Fifteen Winters, specifically: "I Am Taking The Train Home" |
