I don't get it either Beacon. Is it supposed to be random?
Anyway, looking forward to the finale tonight. Not really so much to see who wins but to see all the guest acts. I love Sheila E's performances as well as The Goo Goos. |

That was Sheila E. (drum soloist) with a bunch of other girls I never heard of. She should have ditched the other girls.
YaY. Goo Goo delight. Eta: John's face is looking like he's had some work done. It's shiny & his eyebrows have that curious startled appearance.

I had a feeling Clark Brothers were going to win. They were good, so I am fine with that. I expect we'll hear more in the future about several of these
bands.

You know Shelia is credited as the best female drummer of all time. I would hope she is the best because she's about the only one.
She was pretty kickass on the drums I do admit. She's a great live performer and seeing as I figured she would suck ass, I was surpised. |

I saw Sheila E. in concert with Lionel Ritchie back in the "Dancing on the Ceiling" & "All Night Long" days & she blew everyone
away. She pounded on every type of drum imaginable & was stationed on a super high stage above everyone else. She looked like a goddess up there &
played like a possessed demon. I've been a fan ever since that night.

I just can't make myself like the Clark Brothers. They're too Stepfordian, with their pretty blank faces and good manners.
I want some more Dot Dot motherfuckin Dot. Adam is a helluva singer, and I'm going to miss watching them. Sorry if I missed this, but did anyone else notice that on the finale the Tres Bien guy was a dead ringer for Dr. Who? |
