Do you all actually send in proof of a passport? They ask for it but it seems stupid to do especially if you don't have one to begin with. I mean if you
got picked it's not that hard to go and get one, so why ask for it months ahead of time?

Because BTSvamp, when you get picked, sometimes you have 8 days before you leave (that's what Todd said). Passports now take up to 6 months sometimes to get so if you got picked, there's no way you'd have time to get your passport and you wouldn't be able to go. |

Well, I was more talking about at least waiting until March when they narrow it down to 800 or whatever to see if they even are considering you. Didn't
realize it might take 6 months though, thought it was a lot shorter then that.

Passports are good for 10 years. You never know if you might need to leave the country unexpectedly so it's not a bad investment for $125 or however much
they're charging in your area.

plus, you need a passport to go to Mexico and Canada these days...always good to have it just in case...

Who else feels this season is pointless to even bother with because of all the Todd-inspires who are bound to apply? The worst... this would happen when I

Well Todd just said over on sucks not to post here if you applied so I think I'm screwed. Plus you're right, there are so many of us that will be
compared to Todd and unless they're going for Todd version 2 like they did with Cirie, it's kind of pointless but I have a nice collection of audition
videos to laugh at and they make nice party gifts.

Honestly, how would they know that you post at Sucks anyway? Aren't a lot of the "superfan" Survivors like Todd and Leslie frequenters of these
boards anyway?
On another note... I've lost my passport! This sucks! I just got it two years ago and I can't find it.  I'm not getting a new one just for
the application... Guess that shows my dedication to the cause.

took me 3 months to get my passport, and i think it was around 80$... well worth the money. for the videos, is it easier to make a dvd or tape, they only take
tapes? wierd. how are you screwed if you post that youve applied? you didnt put your username on the app?, did you? good luck and im sure Seg will have a few
good laughs

Doesn't bother me much that I or people in here don't get picked but when they bill it as Survivor's Biggest Fans it is bullshit. All you have to
do is claim your the biggest fan. Well show me one that is a bigger fan than a suckster that has posted 2000+ comments or applied to nearly every casting call
and I am not talking about me. There are dozens of fans from this site that apply and never get a call. A casting agent sees someone in a bar while they are
getting fucked up and the claim they are survivors greatest fan. They are not picking these people from the pool of people who have been applying from the
beginning. They pick bartenders titty club dancers and unemployed actors and models friends of friends etc.......
