Um, yeah I loved Labelle's choir after the FIRST song, but after that she just went DOOOOWN HILL and was not worthy of the title at all. Team Lachey rocked
the entire competition and deserved the win so much more than everyone else.

Being that I have sang in a choir for my entire life, I know the difference between singing from your heart and having no inhibition vs just singing the notes
and acting like it's a broadway show.

Therefore, to say that one was "the best by miles" is objectively impossible to prove.Well, I sure wouldn't give a "best by miles" vote to Patti and Co. 'Cause, my idea of a good choir is not a group of people whose performances consistently featured soloists who. made. me. wince. with their loud, shrieky, off pitch, unsoulful, yowling. |

It's your opinion, but I personally don't think that any choir compared to Labelle's the first two nights. It's also pretty naiive to say he
wasn't helped by the fangirls and it was solely on him being the best. I don't see how there is denying it.

maybe people don't believe it because for years we have all suffered through reality shows where the actual person/group we were rooting for didn't win
(Heather, ANTM, for instance.) It was a stupid reality show. Nick Lachey won; and his group was the best; he seemed to actually really want it too. Patti is an
amazing performer, but her group, not so great. It's sorta weird...

I can't sing to save my life. That said - I enjoyed the selection of music from Nicks choir so much more than Pattis. The soloists from Pattis were very
screechy and I just didn't feel the choir vibe. The selection of 'It's a Wonderful World' really showed off that groups talent.
Plus - Nick is hot and that doesn't hurt. |

Tonight I fell on love with Nick Lachey. I began to like him when he pimped his brother's truck for a birthday gift. DAMN.. he cried and was touched by the
Cinci people. Loved that. I kinda wished he had a New Years Eve gig to let his choir sing with him.
I liked how the stars all got along. I predict a Blake Shelton/Nick Lachey country song hitting the airwaves in the future. MM uber-sucked tonight. She couldn't get one person's name right. How embarassing for her! I hope they do this show again. Lose Maria though. |

That flight of the bumblebee song is what gave Nick the edge. Hadn't his choir sang that song, they wouldn't have won.
That first song that Patti's choir sang on wednesday's show was the only time I can say they were bad. Other than that, they were almost perfect. |
