Yes, Anselmo is a dickhead. I still like the song. Cowboys from Hell is my fave though.

Humpty Dance has been on. They can end the show now...it doesn't get any better than the Hump.

I hope "I Want You" by Savage Garden is on this list. Sadly, I am thinking it will not be.

I could name a top 1000 of the 90s, and include Chris Gaines, the complete works of Backstreet Boys, the "c'mon ride the train" song, and the
soundtrack to A Goofy Movie, and still not have room for Savage Garden.

I really couldn't care less about their other songs, especially "Truly Madly Deeply." Hate that song.

Trying to parse this in terms of best song is fucking impossible...they came up with about the list I would have figured, but there are always going to be gaps, no matter who is reading it. Like seriously...what is the best album of all time, let alone best SONG of all time??? Who the fuck knows. With that said, to pick Creep over Paranoid Android is fucking absurd. ETA: Just saw Marcy Playground on there. No wait...THAT'S actually much more absurd.

Paranoid Android didn't even make the top 100.
Looking at their list, it seems VH1 is trying to keep each artist to a maximum of one song which is absurd. An artist can only achieve a top 100 song once in a decade?
