I did not like Todd or the way he played the game, but at least we finally had two people that have seen the show before in the final three after a few disappointing seasons with no fans. He and Amanda were both good players, but it was the editing that fooled me, not the spoiler. The thing that I was most angry about was that Amanda came in third place. I still can't believe that Courtney got more votes than her. Amanda might have won if she took Denise, but we will never know. I think I did a quick rewind on my tivo when Jeff said that Amanda was out of it when the vote was 3-2-1. Amanda was trashed (mainly by PG, which was surprising considering the last episode) at final TC and did not take the opportunity to explain why Todd should lose over her.In my defense, I wasn't really blindly led by Bluto's spoiler, but by the editing. After the first couple of episodes, I thought it was 100% that they were painting Amanda as the winner and Todd as the over-the-top schemer who gets pummeled in the end. Bluto's spoiler was merely a reinforcement to my editing theory. When people here said Todd would win, I never once said "Um, no because Bluto said it's Amanda" No, I made arguments based on the way both players were edited.
Besides, after the Heidi/Christy fiasco, followed immidiately by the Darrah wins spoilers, I've learn not to take spoilers as facts. But this season in particular, the pieces of the puzzle just seemed to fit so perfectly and I thought the Todd supporters were merely in denial that yet another brunette beauty queen was going to win.
As a purely gut reation, I think next season is a female winner. In the Micronesia promo, the female personalities seems much stronger and interesting than the men. It will be a female noob winner.I agree. Five of the eight newbies that were shown were all women and all seemed like they knew how to play the game.
i think we are getting 20 contestants again, because it is partly an allstars season.
