I shudder to remember that at one time I actually liked this stupid, whiny bitch. When she started the waterworks, begging Amanda to
take her to the Final Three so she wouldn't have to go back to her old life, my hatred was sealed. Entitled acting bitch.

My concern is that Denise never said she was demoted. She said she was transferred to working nights because she was a distraction to the students.Denise quotes from last night: "They didn't give me my job back" "I miss my job" The lying hypocritical twunt certainly intended for people to think she was demoted for going to play Survivor. The school district is setting the record straight that she asked to be a custodian and got the job before doing Survivor. |

I am sure we would see Denise Martin Custodian, returned from leave 9//1/07... what she was before and what she is now.. still considered exempt custodial. Those minutes do not go into detail anything.. its just public records. But listing detail of each staff member, their employment history, salary ranges, etc are not available here and thank god.. that is a violation of privacy. |

Well, the good thing in all this is, Rupert now has some serious competition in the "most-liked-to-most-hated Survivor EVER" polls...

Can we get an actual transcript of what she said at the Reunion, so we know exactly how much she lied, errrr, presented things in a less-than-clear light?
All this (mis-)remembering and "she said blah blah blah" is famously not helpful. If the quotes a few posts back are truly quotes, thank you. But I'd rather see it in transcript form. |

that could be seen as not getting her job back if she were working days before she left, lunchlady or janitor. At any
rate, she never said she was demoted...but the school district is trying to defend themselves as if she she did.
The cast was announced on 8/20...and school resumed on 9/5 (according to the district calender). I'm sure that when school was starting back up, the district moved her to nights to avoid the circus with the children. If Denise were working days before the break, I could totally see how she might consider that not getting her job back...not in the her eyes anyway, especially if she enjoyed working with the kids. It was probably a smart move on the District's part...I just don't agree with the press release where they are are accusing her of saying something Denise didn't say. Again, I'm no fan of Denise....but she's got enough baggage to deal with...does she really need her employer attacking her too? |

JP--what's the weirdest
James--at a funeral, I set up the tent and chairs, and the ceremony occurs, while I was waiting, two ladies didn't leave, so I stepped up to see if they neede help, they said, it's him it's him, I shook their hands and they took pictures. JP--did you help them grieve James--it was the mom and the sister and it made them feel good and that was nice JP--denise, you had a different welcome, lunch lady, making 7 dollars Denise--I went back and talked, and they didn't give my job back, I'm now a janitor, cleaning toilets, mopping floor, they said I was too distracting and too recognizable, all the third graders, 125 of them, say hi, if anyone out there is looking for some lunch lady for the day shift Courtney--you said I don't want her to get money because she sucks at life courtney--sorry JP--well, if everyone loves everyone, I'm going to move on Denise--I worked in the kitchen, have to have short hair for the hair net, but I did want to remember i am a girl, so the mullet |

I agree that it is completely unfair that Denise would exploit the school district as she did, but you also have to realize... it was JEFF PROBST who brought
it up.... he was like... "And Denise, I've heard that some unfortunate things have happened recently with your job... you mentioned you'd be
returning to $7 an hour, but something HORRIBLE happened?! Please tell us about it!"
So obviously it was just a ploy by Mark Burnett to create a sad story of Denise's poor poor life, and gave him an opportunity to look like Jesus by contributing to the Denise Charity. |

Here you go, from the video on cbs.com:
JP: Well Denise... Denise you had a very different welcome home. We just saw, in the show, where you say in trying to plead your case, "This is it for me. I'm going back home. I'm going back to being the lunch lady making seven dollars an hour." Only when you got home, that isn't even what happened. It sounds to me that she tried to get her day-time job back and they said no. She said that she's missing more than she planned on being a janitor. So, in essence she asked for a demotion back to lunch-lady and they said no.

But she had to do some whinig somewhere to somebody for word to leak to JP about her 'tragic' misfortune.True, but it doesn't mean Jeff Probst/MB need to give a fuck and bring it up on live television. Maybe she was unfortunate, but all contestants have to sign a form that states they know that they aren't going to be guaranteed prize money, and they have to risk their jobs/prior commitments to go on Survivor. She chose to risk her current job for a chance at a million dollars. Jeff Probst/MB have no obligation to bring that up. So I blame them more than her. |
