I was totally indifferent to Denise throughout the season up until last night when she went from whatever to pathetic. Her whining during FTC was pathetic. She is the one who blew any chance to make a F3 by flipping and SHE didn't do it. For her to hold Todd responsible was ridiculous. No one forced her to leave her beloved lunch lady job and go to china for 39 days. Heck, I've wanted to be on Survivor since season 1 and the main thing that has kept me from applying is the fact that I couldn't afford to take a leave from work for over a month -- and I make a heck of a lot more than $7 an hour.

Courtney made a great point when she said "This ISN'T welfare!" So, why was Denise rewarded extra for "sucking at her life?" I thought it was disgusting and I'd hate to see this set new precedence on the show with DAWs applying so they could, essentially, pander for handouts. I have no respect for Denise and she's as bad as Dreamz in my eyes.

I'm with you. Tough shit. Some people make a lot of money, most people make average money and some people make very little money. That's life.

Do we know WHY she's a lunch lady? Maybe she dropped out of school because she was an asshole. Or maybe her and her husband have zero motivation or ambition. Who knows.

I have a hard time mustering up tears without knowing the full story.

She has been studying martial arts for 6 years - that shit ain't cheap.

She got to go to China for 39 days. She was able to be on television for 4 months. Her husband (and probably the kids) got to take a vacation (and most likely have mack daddy accomodations - first class flights - LONG ASS FLIGHTS, nice hotels, history tours, etc) that 90% of Americans will never be able to do. In addition, she was able to plea her 'poor me' case in front of 12 million people every week - some do gooder in Boston will reach out to her.

Yes, she may 'suck at life' - but there are a LOT of people in similar situations. They make do. Not all get an opportunity to advance their lives in the blink of an eye like she did. Cry me a river.

However, Burnett should say - you get the fiddy grand under three conditions:

- The Mullet goes - we'll even spring for the makeover
- Your fatass kids need to get in an exercise and wellness program - no seven year old should be morbidly obese
- No more TV for you. Y'all are way to big to be veggin' out in front of the TV. Turn the TV off and run your fat asses around the block - as a family!!!
