India is a good location as well. While it is a developing country, there are still areas which could be used. The scenery is very Survivor-ish as well if
that's what you're looking for. Its also on the way to Madagascar if that is a must do. I do think that the Survivor series has made culture a part of
the show though. Without it, it kinda falls a bit flat (Cook Islands didn't have much culture infused as say China or Borneo). Culture adds another element
to it. Folklore also is a plus I suppose.

South African Survivor (and a few other countries) were recently in Malaysia. The gimick was the Survivors were "kidnapped" as they were driving to a photoshoot, shackeled and then shipped to their island. I enjoyed it. |

There was an Arabian logo that floated around, it featured a camel , and the back ground was actually at night. The main colors were maroon, blue, and gold. It
was pretty close to the Outback and Africa logos in terms of design

One of the great things about S15 is that all of a sudden the 'theme' of the season is Chinese culture, the way it was back in the old days when the outback or africa was the unifying aesthetic theme of the season back when it's not just another island somewhere in the south pacific. |

I imagine they've been scouting, but often we don't hear about the final location choice for fall seasons until the May finale. I'm sure
there'll be rumors though.
