Oh, I'll also add roast beef sandwiches. I never knew it was a regional thing until I went to Maine to college. The only roast beef places they have there
are Arby's. Around here it's very common to have a sandwich place specialize in roast beef sandwiches, which are particularly awesome after a night of
drinking.

Country hams. Yum!! BBQ (it's a vinegar-based sauce but the secret is in the smoking - they call it Monroe County style). Derby Pie. Kind of like chess pie but better.

Sorry - chess pie is kind of like the inside part of a pecan pie but without the pecans. Derby pie is more like a pecan pie but with chocolate added.

I had Italian style poutine in Montreal once. French fries, covered in meat marinara sauce, covered with mozeralla cheese. It tastes better than it sounds. And yeah, it's terrible for you.
