Lila is straight trippin! She best leave them kids alone! Is it wrong for me to want Dexter to hack her up into tiny little pieces? I love Doakes! LOL at the
dudes taking him back to the cabin! Why would he tell them he is with the police... didn't he know drugs were there and maybe the 'runners' would
be around? This ep seemed fast... we didn't even get to see them feed the alligators

I do feel like this episode went too fast, but this show has a very fast pace, which keeps it good and not sucking. I can't wait for Lila to go away. I was actually cheering for Deb when she confronted her. I'd be happier if Deb's mouth wasn't so damn
crooked. Did Elvis have another daughter?

I love Lila. She's batshit crazy, and it definitely balances the show to a degree-how can you not love her smug expressions with Deb? Im hoping she drives Deb to throw herself out a window or something. Good ending-poor Doakes. This can't end well for him. |

It used to be the Sopranos until they started sucking so bad.) I usually go over on Monday or Tuesday when Mom has already seen it. I settle into the big chair and ask, "So, did he kill her yet?". |

The things people do when they don't have Showtime. There was a woman in the Big Brother thread that would go to her daughter's apartment (her
daughter was in her 20's) and watch Showtime Too for BBAD everynight.
Can you imagine, being cock blocked by your mom because she's too cheap to subscribe to Showtime? |

So awesome.
I bow at the feet of Darkly Demanding Demon Dexter. Now I'm going to read the books to pass the time until we get more. |

i was so trying to avoid spoilers that i checked out of the thread when the final two eps were released. it looks like y'all did a great job of not
spilling anything, and from what i see tonight, so my fears were just fears. great job, buds.
but i read that the promos for the last ep revealed too much (from alan sep.) and i tried to avoid them too. so i'm watching the first hour of the survivor finale tonight, waiting for dexter, AND THOSE CBS FUCKERS WERE SHOWING THE DEXTER PROMOS! i know cbs owns showtime and i get cross promotion, BUT THE TWO FINALES WERE AIRING IN THE SAME 9PM TIMESLOT. YOU FUCKING MORONS! DO YOU IGNORANT CBS FUCKS WANT TO SCREW UP MY DEXTER EXPERIENCE? OR GET ME TO TUNE AWAY FROM SURVIVOR BECAUSE DEXTER LOOKS MORE COMPELLING? wtf? how stupid is cbs? or the showtime promo department for that matter. don't promo folks get that if you are into the show you will watch regardless of what you show? and that if people haven't been watching no matter what you promo, new folks will not tune in? i hope the writers stay out until cbs dies. and then a new organization will replace these assholes... oh, and the finale was definitely underwhelming. it felt like they were trying to wrap up the series in a neat bow. like they didn't anticipate a season three. all of that weird tension they built up in season two was just released like air from a balloon. dexter-doakes. the bhb. deb-lundy. dexter-lilah... it does leave a pretty much blank canvas for season three. which might be good. but it was too clipped. too clean. too convenient...

I'm glad I didn't download the last 2 episodes in advance. I enjoyed the finale, and I hope they air the 3rd season on Showtime, not CBS.

It was a great finale, it tied everything up for next season.
I loved in the middle when they started the theme song over and he began his day like at the beginning of each ep. Sad to see Doakes go, but oh well. OH, and season 3 will be on Showtime, not CBS..unless it is at a later date after the season airs. |

At first, I thought the ending was very pat, but I have to say that I like having an almost blank canvas for season 3. Superb season.

Yeah, I heard a rumor that season 3 might follow along the lines of the books in some way. Is the 3rd Dexter book out yet? I need to get it.

Awesome episode.Awesome season.
Can't wait to see the 'new' Dexter ;) Anyone else love the new box and the smirk he gave after he ran his fingers down the side with the empty numbers showing? Plus the music ;) I fucking love this show! |

I thought the season as a whole was very good, but the finale was anticlimactic; for me at least. My wife seemed to enjoy it. I can't really say what it
was, but it just didn't give me that typical ramped up adrenaline semi-rush that most of the eps gave me.
I am, however, EXTREMELY happy that the writers revealed that Lila was absolutely NOT in any type of "recovery" program. She was more shades of Marla from "Fight Club" who cruised recovery style meetings in an attempt to "get high" off the meeting itself. Thank you writers!!!!!!!!! I feel a bit justified in my rants at the beginning of the season while at the same time a bit chagrined that I was so easily and quickly taken in instead of waiting to "hear the whole story" before going off. neener neener told you so |
