But I still don't think his laughing at Zach was being hypocritical because I think he (and the others) were laughing at Zach's demeanor more than they were laughing at him nominating himself. It was mean and uncalled for but not hypocritical IMHO. After all, they didn't make fun of Jared who also nominated himself. They laughed at him but it's because he's funny as hell!

Of course editing is everything, but Zach's always come across as a pretty stoic, take-charge, not-too-emotional kind of kid. He's just stepped up when needed, and gotten the job done. It's always the people who never cry whose tears mean the most. Unless he's a big crybaby and we just never see it, I'd be pretty concerned if he showed up in front of me in tears. I'll refrain from commenting on Greg's brainpower, but his assumptions do puzzle me.

No problem :) I just remember it b/c I started watching like 5 episodes into the show so I only caught up with some of the old ones like a week ago. I guess that's why to me Greg comes off as hypocrite for mocking a kid wanting the last star that they know about, when I was just watching the episode where he flips out on everyone and starts cursing in part b/c of he's pissed they hadn't acknowledged his wonderfulness yet. I don't care if he disagreed with the tears but I just think him making fun of it was ridiculous since his own handling of a similar situation (where he felt slighted and like his achievements hadn't been acknowledged) was a lot worse, and he's got 5 years on Zach. I would like it if he could just realize he's dealing with kids much younger than him for once and not be a jerk, but apparently that is not to be. Last Edited By: marta1 12/07/07 2:34 PM. I guess I'm alone here, but I think Greg was claiming Zach's tears were fake because that's the way he deals with stuff. Since Zach was on the council, Greg has had to look at him as more than just a little kid with little kid feelings. It's easy for Greg to console the younger kids. It seems like he just didn't want to see Zach like that or believe Zach could get all teary. I think I'm not explaining my thinking on this clearly. If you kind of know what I'm saying, well you know. If you don't, nevermind.

Greg was the one that said (after Zach left) that the tears were fake but they were still all not taking Zach seriously. I really think these guys forget that Zach is a little kid.

First, I just want to say it is beyond pathetic to declare that you hate a little kid. I mean, it's ridiculous but whatever, if you guys get your knocks off hating little kids on a reality show then to each their own. Now, I'm going to go against the majority and say that I actually really, really like Taylor. And not because I love to hate her. Yes, sometimes she has her moments and is very immature. But c'mon, how old is she again? 10? We can't expect her to be THAT mature at this age. But she has also had a lot of really sweet confessionals, talking nice about a lot of her districts members etc... and on top of that when she was on the council she ALWAYS voted for the mature decision. As in eating the chickens, taking the microwave instead of pizza, toothbrushes instead of BBQ etc... Personally, I would have expected her to pick the instant gratification prizes but it does show that she DID have good intentions on the council. Anyway, I'm not trying to force my opinion on anyone I'm just explaining why I do like Taylor. And of course on top of it all, she's great entertainment. ON the other hand, I really dislike Greg. He's an immature, bipolar ass. He needs to grow up. Almost ALL of the kids on that show are much more mature than him and considering he's one of the oldest that's really pathetic. Just my 2 c.!

Greg's an immature 15 year old. At least he doesn't think he's the greatest thing to walk the earth like Taylor does about herself. She embodies everything I hate about most 20-something year old women on reality TV shows. So fucking shallow and self-absorbed! I'm going to call her 'Little Jen' (BB8) from now on. Only I can't hate her like I hate Jen because she is a child after all. She can still grow out of it. Greg is sweet. He's just immature. I enjoy watching him. Mike, Zach, and Jared love! The last three stars need to go to them!!!

I would venture a guess that I know 15 year olds better than MOST people here. It's my job to know them. And yes, he is an immature 15 year old. But yes, most 15 year old are immature. This fact does not disclude him from being immature for his age. And what the fuck does cutting the heads off of chickens have to do with maturity? He's a skilled, immature 15 year old. The two are not mutually exclusive.
