Last night's ep was damned near PERFECT! Just the right mix of everything that had me laughing till my gut hurt during scenes like the girly slap fight and
Glady's makeout session, then snapping back into baited suspense with the unfolding of what the Devil was apparently orchestrating. Oh the love.
Really glad they are exploring all these other possibilities beyond The Work Bench crutch. Even the effects were awesomely ramped up - dude, untwisting the barbed wire from the tattoo on his arm... wow. Kudos to those on Reaper for pulling this off beautifully and coherently. Of course, Josie is still pointless along with Ben, but when used in small amounts that move the plot along they do add an extra layer that dare I say would be missed if they were gone. Kill me. Even Andi's contribution mattered. |

When Sock woke up from the dream screaming, that sequence had me laughing more than any scene in any show this year. First the "Ok, here we go...watch
your horns" then the screams....the lamp falls over and then more screams and crying and then he collapses and everything falls off the desk. Just
classic.

Yes! Show is getting better! Andi progress (sort of). Departure from formulaic plot structure. Sock hilarity (his reaction to that dream was even funnier
than the dream itself). Better villains of the week (both this week and last week). Shame the strike could ruin their momentum.

Chalk me up as another who thought I'd wake up the whole sleeping house laughing at Sock waking up from his dream. This has easily become one of the few
shows of the new season that have entered my must-see-TV schedule. I hope it survives the strike and keeps evolving.
I'm still dying to know about the contract. It's unrealistic that he would make such a fuss about getting it and then not pursue understanding it once he got it. They made a point to show his dad burning a page out of it and then it became a dead subject. |

I liked the show last night. LOL at the Grandma having the 3rd eye and stabbing Sam in the palm of his hand ;) Loved seeing Melinda Clarke. That girl can act
in so many roles. I sure wish we could have her on a show for good. She should be working year around! Not liking the devil spawn.

Big news on The CW front: Mediaweek is reporting
that The CW will be ordering new episodes of six shows: Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, Reaper, Smallville, Supernatural, and The Game.
I really don't care about the other crap, but I was thrilled to know Reaper has at least a shot in hell to come back. |
