This strike isn't ending anytime soon. It could go on for a long time.

:) Actually, they're filming the series finale as we speak. Fortunately all of the scripts were completed before the strike started. Shawn Ryan
won't be on set during the strike, but the filming is in capable hands. So we will see Vic Mackey in April 2008.

as long as we get a GREAT finale, i'll be fine, but it does make me nervous that ryan won't be there while it's filmed. he's always on set.
i'm anxious for it and dreading it at the same time----something i'm sure you understand. GO VIC!!!! |

"The Don" wasn't on the same show as James. He was on BB5 and James was BB6.

Grodner has been doing more interviews about a winter edition of BB. She seems to be foaming at the mouth at the prospect of it. Of course its more work for
her but also more payout in the end. If the strike continues to go on...CBS is going to end up depending on BB to keep viewers from turning off the TV from all
the reruns of non-reality shows.

Might even pick up new peeps if they watch the winter one because there is nothing else on and then decide they want to watch the summer too!!
Well...It could happen!!

I just saw the thing about the sequester house being filmed for BBAD.
As much as I like having the feeds... SEQUESTER HOUSE > NORMAL HOUSE. They should have both Mainly because I don't think the sequester house will always be fun. |

there's nobody in there for weeks. are you saying they're going to go between the two on BBAD or just have sequester on BBAD? i don't see how
that would work----even when there are 2 people there, it wouldn't be much fun for viewers. and i really think they should have some down time that's
not filmed once they leave the house but are locked up. so i wouldn't like it.

I don't know. I just read the rumor at that BB9 rumor site.

BOO TO THE WRITERS STRIKE! and go BB9! |

I hope the strike doesn't end soon and we DO get BB9 on Feb. but I hope that when it does come to an end, the writters get a good deal, they are the backbone of the entertainment industry and the vast majority of them barely make enough money to live by. They need to stand firm until their requests are met. |

I never knew anything about writer's salaries and things until this strike. I was shocked at how little they receive and basically how they get nothing for
online things. The writer's get screwed and I hope they hold out too. Without them the bigwigs wouldn't have their damn shows. I am not just saying
this to get an earlier BB either, although it would be nice.

I read that the outgoing HOH can compete for HOH. and how it's gonna be like Big Brother: Boot Camp, i.e. strict lights out and wake up times and chores.
if I get in I'm gonna have to bite my tounge hard not to bitch about it. I don't wanna be Jen 2.0.

If they had the regular house on the internet and the sequester on after dark that could pull in more people to subscribe to showtime. Could be an interesting experiment. |

From what the site said, it looked like they'd film the whole day and edit it into a 3 hour episode for BBAD. So it'd probably be the day behind.
