It showed someone opening a green box that had a lock on it and then shows someone opening a yellow box. The yellow box has 2 sides. Each side has a question/clue and a bag/lever below it. I'm sure choosing the the wrong one slows you down or could eliminate the person. I can't read what the question/clue says. I also tried to read them from SF clips. I also noticed there are at least 2 yellow boxes side by side. My speculation so far: It is is an individual RC and the top 2 players (James/Amanda based on the shot before IC) go to Shaolin Temple. The tribe members must follow their own series of ropes that pass through boxes. Some boxes have clues and some have a lock. Choosing the wrong path will slow them down or eliminate them.

We've seen footage from several eps later on the recraps. I tend to agree James and Amanda go o reward based on the IC lineup ETA - At Skills VG seems to think this is a ep 10 challenge. Or they (the final 7) all vote for three people to go on the reward. There are no pictures (that I know of) from the RC for this episode.

Remember in Cook Islands we thought they were orgasmically oohing and aahing about the family visit, and it turned out to be breakfast pastries? For now, I can convince myself that it makes sense to have a cultural challenge for a cultural reward. And that there could be sort of a fighting theme (cross bows, kung fu, fighting stars) throughout the episode.

As far as I can recall, so far there has been nothing significant that has happened with this text. Why give it to them otherwise?

The boxes with locks and ropes, I am not sure about. They may go with the family RC. The airplane and temple photos probably have to do with the reward from Episode 10. (Episode 11) (First picture Episode 11 and second picture Episode 10?)

Posts: 108 (11/28/07 11:27 AM) MESS member More Recent Posts	The nearest airport is Nanchang From there it's only about one hour flying time from Nanchang airport (KHN) to Zhengzhou airport (CGO) Link to a current commercial flight Zhengzhou (city, don't know the airport's distance) is about 50 miles from the Shaolin Temple. The travel itself should not take the usual couple of days between TC and IC

Surprised-happy for Erik and Amanda, then "Uh-oh, this challenge is seriously important" for Todd and Courtney. I guess if we were really motivated we could identify the airline from the insignia on the plane's tail. It doesn't look like China Southern. Maybe China Eastern? (Silly communists, who shoots photos of their logo edge on?) Anyways, it sounds like there is no need to have an early (at tribal council) reward challenge, simply to allow for travel time. There's no way they could be seeing this plane at the challenge set up, since it has wheels. Maybe you could land a float plane somewhere else in the lake and taxi it over to their challenge area, but another little taxi boat seems more reasonable. So whatever they're seeing in surprise or tearful despair, I think is something else.

Look at the yellow object behind William's head. So the pictures of the people covering their mouths also comes from Episode 11 for the RC called "Marco Polo," where TDT says it sounds like the Vanuatu loved ones visit. There also only appears to be 6 tables with the colored boxes on them, not seven (which means this comes from Episode 11). I also do not see any locks on the boxes above like the one below: According to TDT, the Episode 12 IC is called "Chinese Leftovers" which could be the challenge where Jeff tells them a story and they have to remember if it was true or false, 10,000 years or 1,000 years, etc. This could be why they have the locks. If you open the wrong lock, you get the black coin instead of the gold coin (right answer). I don't know. I am just guessing and thinking ahead. I'd still stick with James and Amanda returning from reward with bags in tow. Amanda winning seems to fit with Todd being upset.

Anyway, Croc, do you have a video link to the clip where Todd is upset? Do you think that the clip of Todd being upset at someone (probably Amanda) could be from Episode 11? Maybe Amanda does not tell Todd that they are voting out James and Amanda, Courtney, PG and Erik vote out James and the other three vote for PG? Todd returns to camp on Episode 11 angry that James is gone and is upset that Amanda did not tell him?
