They are all color coded. Maybe Denise is just first to throw.
I just can't imagine that this isn't coconut choppish.

Well that cinches it thanks Kona and TS2....This is for IC.
It could be coconut choppish...the very first one in Marquesas was for IC. As you recall John, Tammy and the General were all over easch other congratulating themselves on it. - which lead to John's departure because Kathy, Neleah et al flipped

The top pic in Kona's post shows at least 5 people walking through the entrance. So Amanda/James as the RC winners could be in doubt. But walking through
last may be a result of joining them on the beach just before making the trek.

Now the lineup with no Denise. Each person has a different color headband weaing them in alternate spots: Amanda purple on head, James red as a tail,
Courtney yellow as a cumberbund, Erik black/gray as a headband, Todd green as a headband, and PG white as a headband. All but James seems to be looking at the
direction of the benches and PG is smiling. Did Denise just throw star and look like an idiot? Did Denise just win immunity? Why is James scowling?

Kona I'm guessing that's during Denise's turn.

Remember the pre-season video about how they built this arena? And it was a crazy far walk up the mountain from everywhere else? So surely they would have
altered their order in the process of walking that far.
So who would be good at this? Apparently not James. I know it's just a snapshot, but Peih-Gee seems to be the only one looking pleasant as she watches. James is flat out looking in the other direction. If Denise is throwing, why are they all still standing up? You know, this isn't even exactly the same lineup location as in the previous shot we had - look at how Peih-Gee is sorta wedged in between the benches, and their positions are reordered slightly. (Although interesting that Amanda and James are still next to each other. Coincidence, or their choice.) Could Denise actually have won the thing, using her superior nugget-slinging skills, and is modeling the immunity necklace? |

They are all looking at something. I can't imagine what it is unless someone pulled a Randy Johnson and killed a bird with one of those star things. By the
lin-ep Denise is first up - or out as suggested
Courtney looks fit to kill. James is also not pleased. I'm thinking they've been hit or at least shot at. ETA - If a winner was declared I think Jeffy might be there ;)

Erik was an avid baseball and football player, Denise has skills in axe and knife throwing.

Thanks ko. Erik and Denise both makes a bit of sense he's low keyed, she's not been much of a threat and both can throw. Knife and axe throwing -
geesh don't get out of line in her caf.

Per her CBS bio: "Her hobbies include collecting Budweiser memorabilia, axe and knife throwing," Lunch Lady may just win this one :) |

It reminds me of that challenge in Guatemala, where they had to throw that stick-like object. After they threw the stick and Jeff measured how far it went,
the order changed up (although this was for an eating RC). Maybe something similar to this? Maybe that is why Todd moved from between James and Courtney to
in between Erik and PG?

That could explain why James and Courtney look pissed, because it is between PG and Denise for immunity?
So: Amanda is the worst thrower, followed by James, Courtney, Erik, Todd, PG and Denise? |

But what is the deal with the benches? There are two tiers of benches behind them in the first lineup pic, almost like bleachers, and then two shorter benches
to the left which they are lined up in front of while watching Denise do whatever. The benches can not be seen in the pic of Todd hurling...

I think what looks like the top tier of benches in the the first (Peih-Gee with necklace) image is really the bamboo rail from the fence at the back.
You can sorta match the features in the various images to get a panorama - L-to-R immunity necklace stand, ramp to enter arena, benches. (If you were spatially talented, you could look at the angles of the shadows from the slanted bamboo support, and get some idea of how much time has passed.) I hope Denise wins the mah-jong-with-chinese-beer-bottle-labels challenge, too. |

I disagree. Look at the pic of the new lineup. The two short benches are behind them. Look to the far right near PG, you can see the ends of two sets of benches, one row is definately higher than the other. |

Kobrien fan, you are right. There is a two tiered bench to the right of PG and there are two small benches (in the other picture) behind them when they have
their headbands on. The two small benches are probably there if they want to sit while the others are throwing. The two tiered bench is probably for the
people who are eliminated.

I don't know, that is an awful lot of bench for 7 peeps. I think there is more to it.

Are you matching up the other elements of the picture? The corner of the ramp visible to Probst's right in the "post" image? And the bamboo
uprights wrapped in banners?
Minimally, we're all seeing at least three two-person benches, which would be six to sit and one to throw, so maybe ok. If there are actually rows and rows of "benches", they must really be stands for whatever the target is? Which would be a weird layout for the whole arena, to pack everything to that space at the end. Although they did a similarly unaesthetic setup for the gross food challenge. If they really are throwing sharp things, the watchers need to be well out of the way, in case of any crazy hooking throw or an accidental release on the backswing, so maybe they watch from the little dugouts they used in the previous challenge here. |
