I haven't seen a good donkey punch thread in ages. Could this be it?

People are so hungry to see me in a negative light that when I show myself, they become visibly myopic and make fools of themselves.is that some sort of thinly-veiled insult aimed at mia just because she's fat and wears glasses? Not very mature of you, UC. |

OT is like an EQ sandpit where one is more likely to be attacked for saying something positive than negative.
Get over it. And if my humanity makes you feel uneasy, deal. |

I think it's last night's tequila that's making pie feel uneasy.

I see two problems with the major concepts of this thread:
#1. How, exactly, is it possible to "accept Tres's gay marriage" when she has specifically said she isn't married and wouldn't?, and more importantly, #2. If you are so smart and humane, UC, then what the hell are you doing here? |

Can we ban people who incorporate "EQ" into arguments? Thanks. |

UC I am going to choose to believe that your sentiments were heartfelt. Thank you for your kind words and thoughts.
Sadly Mrs. Tres and I were not meant to be married and we had our union dissolved four years after our ceremony. We broke up three years after the ceremony. Happily the reason we finally had the union dissolved because the ex-Mrs. Tres found new love and didn't feel right pursuing that while we were married in the eyes of our church and family. She and her gf have been together for eight or nine years now. In the lesbian tradition we remain extremely close. My mom still views her as a daughter/daughter-in-law and the ex-Mrs. Tres and her new love visit the whole family quite often even though they moved far away. We spoke to them several times yesterday in fact. I still help her out financially when I can as she and her gf are disabled and live on a very limited income. The love remains and I believe that God brought us together as partners initially because we were not evolved enough when we met. We would not have been able to understand the unique and subtle aspects of our love for each other. I also believe that God wanted the ex-Mrs. Tres to have a family and that my family was the right fit for her. She spent her childhood in the foster care system and in orphanages; her gf's family turned their back on her because of her relationship with ex-Mrs. Tres. FooFoo and I remain happily goofy together and have no plans to ever fall out of love. |

*sigh*, I read Message as Massage and was prepared for a much more exciting thread. Take it to PM's next time!

I think it'd be a lot better to talk about DQ than EQ.

My sentiments were real and heartfelt. I don't know what's wrong with a lot of these OTers. They seem a bit messed-up. Maybe I should have PMed you,
so you wouldn't have received all these negative messages.
