Especially with all-stars 2 coming up Enough time has elapsed since the last DVD release that if CBS/Paramount decide to resume releasing Survivor DVD sets (which I highly doubt), they will go back to the earlier seasons lile Africa and Marquesas which had more viewers than the recent seasons.

I'm not really bothered about Africa or Thailand being released. I'd rather not see P: Exile Island, Cook Islands or Fiji be released yet over the others. Yeah, I didn't think about Matt. I'd like to hear why he had the need to sit there and sharpen a machete for hours on end. Actually, I'd like to hear from Butch about the wood collecting incident as well. I put Heidi because I'd like to hear more of her "people didn't know this about me, but I used to be / do..." bs and see if she's changed. Her and Jenna together would be great for a commentary IMO. Jenna's the S Live host, Rob has his radio show...you'd think this one would've seen a date a long time ago...

Anyway, I found this info on the DVD sales on Amazon. It's about the Amazon sales of Survivor, TAR and BB. The highest selling Reality Show DVD at the moment is Project Runway Season 2 (Ranked #326 altogether) 1. Borneo - #16 in Reality DVDs, #5,285 altogether 2. Vanuatu - #18 in Reality DVDs, #5,456 altogether 3. Palau - #20 in Reality DVDs, #5,739 altogether 4. Australian Outback - #23 in Reality DVDs, #7,782 altogether 5. Pearl Islands - #34 in Reality DVDs, #9,209 altogether 6. TAR7 - #38 in Reality DVDs, #9,905 altogether 7. TAR1 - #39 in Reality DVDs, #10,252 altogether 8. All Stars - #45 in Reality DVDs, #12,266 altogether 9. BB3 - #70 in Reality DVDs, #29,773 altogether Rankings are of course #1 being the best and onwards Overall, it looks like Survivor sells well for a Reality show, as does TAR. Surely being in the top 50 with all the DVD sets on the largest internet retail company, winning an award and the fact that they are still selling must mean another one is on its way. CBS must be stupid to think that they won't sell well. The 12-14 million fans who have stuck with the show all these years beg to differ.

Those statistics are good...yet another question as to why the hell more haven't been released...
