This is good news. Hopefully, the big bump in viewers could also bring back the DVDs. I still want Seasons 2-6 & All-Stars!

I'm not surprised by the surge in ratings. When people found out that TAR wasn't orginally on the Fall lineup alot of people were shocked and upset.
TAR doesn't get the ratings that Survivor gets but its still a reality TV staple that has a huge following.

Also at 8 p.m. was week two of CBS' The Amazing Race 12 (Viewers: #3, 10.48 million; A18-49: #4, 3.1/ 8), which is vast improvement over one time wonder

These were the highest demo numbers for CBS for the night. Also no football overrun this time. Very solid numbers. |

Given Viva's terrible ratings, TAR's look amazing. It will never be as popular as Survivor, so hopefully CBS is simply content with TAR being a decent
hit.

the best 18-49 for cbs on the night which is the most important.. i think tar would actually do better at 9..cold case would be a better lead in than 60
minutes and it would also get away from extreme makeover

when its over run and goine up against desperate housewives the ratings in the 18-49 have increased.. desperate housewives and tar are not neccessarily the
