Sixwire did She's always a woman. Clark Brothers did She's got a way about her. Beautifully. They made Billy Joel sound like Paul McCartney.

I'm sorry to break this to you, but I'm Adrien Brody's next wife.

So is the spoiler correct that The Muggs and Rocket are gone? I was not able to watch last time.

That's good, they both sucked. I forgot to watch.

VFTW posted who left this week, and it was apparently confirmed. Spoiler: Franklin Bridge leaves. This is going to be some good shit. |

Not confirmed, I've just heard it from 3 different sources. I hope it's true though.

Noooo. Not yet!

Clark Brothers for the win. Best technical musicians and best earnest musicians. And they'd be even better with a bass and drum added, which I imagine
some tracks from the album will probably receive.
I always laugh when the Old 7's mandolin player tries to do some fancy shit, and you know the Clark brother is 100 times more skilled at it. |

I like having the spoilers for this. If it was something I didn't want, I wouldn't waste my time on a Friday night watching. Let's just say -
I'll be watching based on the spoiler.

I think Clark Brothers will win this also. I do like Six Wire but Clark Brothers have that whole "thing" going on that will be marketable to a lot
of different areas (Christian, contemp, country, blues) and come on three young mostly studly brothers?

tonight we have the music of Leiber and Stoller.
"Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller have written some of the most spirited and enduring rock and roll songs: "Hound Dog" (originally cut by Big
Mama Thornton in 1953 and covered by Elvis Presley
three years later), "Love Potion No. 9" (the Clovers), "Kansas City" (Wilbert Harrison), "On Broadway" (the Drifters), "Ruby Baby" (Dion) and "Stand By Me" (Ben E. King). Their vast catalog includes
virtually every major hit by the Coasters (e.g.,
"Searchin'," "Young Blood," "Charlie Brown," "Yakety Yak" and "Poison Ivy"). They also worked their magic
on Elvis Presley, writing "Jailhouse Rock,"
"Treat Me Nice" and "You're So Square (Baby I Don't Care)" specifically for him. All totaled, Presley recorded more than 20 Leiber
and Stoller songs.

The Clark Brothers have been the obvious plant from day one. I honestly can't see them losing at this point.
Hopefully Light of Doom is at least in the finals with them! |

Oh, this will be a hoot to see what Light of Doom does to a Lieber & Stoller song. Their parents weren't even around when those songs were
cool.

The sad thing is as much as we love to rip on Light of Doom, they actually have yet to be bad.

Not bad but not great either. I hate, hate them showing us those dorks without shirts & in leather pants. That's just wrong. And I agree with Sheila
E. No cursing. It's not cool coming from a kid.

Please show the Clark Brothers without their shirts!

Yum, shirtless Clarks. They had a shaky start but brought it! Very, very good.

I don't get the dotdotdot love. I'd change the station if they were on the radio.
