Survivor Maps has checked off an Island as a potential EI. Dan and Wezzie are very good about doing their homework. SEG reportedly had a former female contestant lined up to host had Probst not re-signed the last time he was up. He sounded very upbeat however in an interview shortly after returning from China. |

I was recently in Vegas and I went to the CBS store. Survivor was the main display, right when you walked in the door, knowing that people want to buy things
from their favorite shows. I think that CBS knows that Survivor has really loyal viewers, and will keep it around as long as they can.

I personally hope they don't have Exile Island. Here are a couple of reasons why:
1. After a couple of episodes, it gets really boring. (Sometimes they dont even show the exiled castaway from the time they leave the RC till the time they come back at the IC. 2. People usually tend to find the HII too quickly (Terry,Yul). And after finding it, exile island becomes useless. No entertainment value at all! 3. Sending someone to exile really doesnt provide much entertainment. I mean the whole concept when S12 was created was that when a castaway leaves "for days at a time", they wont know what the hell is going on at camp. But this is not the case most of the time. Usually, most of the strategy talk happens after the IC, which is after the exiled castaway returns. 4. Whenever exile island is shown each episode, its in the same format: The castaway talks about how they dont want to be there. Then they read out the clue. Then they wonder whether somebody else has already found the HII. Then footage is shown of them looking for the HII. I really want them to do what they did in China: the Kidnapping. Here are the reasons why: 1.It would create more drama, especially with the All-Stars. If a newbie was kidnapped, would they give the clue to somebody they liked? And if an All-Star was kidnapped, it would be interesting to see how they would interact with the newbies. 2. Since now everyone knows that the kidnappee has to hand out the clue, each of the tribemates would keep a close eye on the kidnappee and they would watch closely as to which tribesmate takes a walk with the kidnappee!!!! 3. Even if the HII were to be found, this wouldn't stop the drama as to which tribesmate the kidnapee gives the clue to. Personally, I think that we have had enough of Exile Island with three seasons. Kidnapping creates a lot more drama since the castaways are interacting with each other. And if this is infact a Half-Ass, kidnapping gives opportunity for inter-tribe alliances to be created between the All-Stars and the newbies. |

S8 might not have been the best season, but the people on it were definelty All-Star worthy (except for the winner ofcourse). In Zesty's list, I would replace Jenn, Katie, Julie, Lydia, & Michelle from pre-ASS1 seasons. Other than that I think its pretty good. |

Jerri Manthey has hosted some dodgeball competition on GSN. Maybe she's do this. Besides, her acting career really hasn't taken off at all in the last
seven years since Australia so she's probably desperate for something.

But the one that has the background to do JP's job would be Danni. She has done play by play commentary as a sports reporter and interviewing players is her profession. I thought that she would be a viable replacement when they filmed Guatemala. Don't get me wrong, JP is the best for the show and I am not a huge fan of Danni, but she seems most likely candidate. |

From the interview I saw with Danni, she said she never wanted to be a survivor contestant again, but is still a huge fan.
